Longview Care Home Residents Enjoy Alpaca Experience

Residents from Longview care home, part of the Runwood Homes group, enjoyed a memorable day out, with a special trip to Southend-on-Sea, where they fed alpacas and enjoyed a traditional seaside meal.

Resident Sandra M shared her delight, saying: “It was so nice feeding the alpacas, I have fallen in love with them!”

Following the farm visit, residents and staff headed to Ye Olde Chippy, where they enjoyed a classic fish-and-chip meal together, rounding off the day with a much-loved seaside tradition.

Days like these play an important role in supporting wellbeing, encouraging social interaction, and providing meaningful experiences.
