Care Home in Lancaster Hosts Global Tea Party for Residents

Residents at Ashton Manor Care Home in Lancaster, part of Evermore Care, recently enjoyed a global tea party as part of a themed “8 Sips Around the World” experience.

The residential care home in Lancaster offered residents the opportunity to sample teas and traditional snacks from eight different countries, alongside short videos showcasing each culture. The activity encouraged conversation, social interaction and shared experiences across the home.

Residents come from a wide range of backgrounds, and maintaining this sense of identity is an important part of everyday life in the home.

The global tea party reflected this approach, giving residents the freedom to choose what they wanted to try. Some explored new flavours, while others preferred familiar drinks, with everyone supported to take part in a way that suited them.
