Tyspane Care Home – The Importance of World Theatre Day

Each year, World Theatre Day offers the global theatre community an opportunity to pause and reflect on a simple but essential question: what role does theatre continue to play in our societies today. Well at Tyspane Care Home, theatre plays a huge part in our residents’ lives, the theatre offers a chance for residents to immerse themselves in the emotions and stories that perform Infront of them. Theatre introduces residents to new cultures and varying perspectives, broadening their understanding of ever-changing world. However, the most important benefit has to be bringing everyone together to form a sense of community.

This afternoon, everyone at Tyspane Care Home came together to celebrate World Theatre Day with the talented, and simply spectacular Tamsin Ball. Tamsin Ball has been performing since the age of four in theatre productions such as shows, musicals and pantomimes. Thank you, Tamsin, a truly memorable event. See you soon.
