Celebrating Community at the Boxgrove Spring Community Event

Residents and team members from both The Anchorage and Manor Barn came together for a wonderful Spring Coffee Morning at Boxgrove Village Hall, kindly hosted by the amazing Boxgrove Village Hall Team.

From the moment we arrived, our residents were made to feel like VIPs with a reserved table, we drank endless tea and coffee, and ate a delicious spread of homemade cakes (plus a few bacon sarnies)

We were incredibly lucky to be joined by Daisy, Nola, and Millie from the Through the Eyes of a Child programme. The girls kept everyone thoroughly entertained with arts and crafts and face painting, and it was lovely to see them chatting with our residents and the wider community about the programme. There was so much interest and appreciation for the positive impact it’s having in our homes.

We were also treated to a fantastic performance by the talented team from Bros Musical Productions, who gave us a sneak peek of The Little Mermaid The Musical. We’ve already booked our tickets for their April show at Westbourne House School.

The musical talents of Sussex Pop Choir were amazing. It was great to chat with Angie from Sussex Pop Choir, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. And thank you to the other amazing choir members, your voices really touched us all. We hope to welcome you into our homes in the future.
