Centenarian Celebration at Wilton Manor: Peter Marks 100th Birthday

Wilton Manor Care Home, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, proudly celebrated a remarkable milestone as resident Peter turned 100 years old.

To mark the occasion, Peter received a special birthday card from His Majesty the King, making the day even more special. Staff and residents came together to host a lively celebration in Peter’s honour, complete with entertainment, refreshments, and a beautifully crafted cake prepared by the home’s talented chefs.

Adding a unique touch to the festivities, guests were treated to a performance by belly dancers, creating an atmosphere of joy and laughter throughout the event. Drinks were shared all around as everyone joined in celebrating Peter’s extraordinary century of life.

Peter expressed his delight at the surprise celebration, saying:

“I wasn’t expecting the belly dancers but I thoroughly enjoyed it! I loved the party and so did everyone else, we really did have a laugh and that’s what I love doing most. It was nice having my son and daughter there to celebrate with me as well. The staff here have been so lovely, and it was nice to see them enjoying themselves too.”

The celebration highlighted the strong sense of community at Wilton Manor, where staff and residents alike came together to honour Peter’s milestone.
