Wilton Manor Care Home, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, is proud to celebrate a truly special milestone as resident Peter marks his 100th birthday, surrounded by friends, family, and the caring community he has become a cherished part of.
Peter, who moved into Wilton Manor in December last year, has quickly become a much-loved member of the community. Residents and staff alike have enjoyed getting to know him and hearing stories from his extraordinary life.
A lifelong contributor to his local area, Peter has been actively involved in community roles in Melton, earning the respect and appreciation of many over the years. His dedication to the community has left a lasting impact and continues to inspire those around him.
Family has always been at the heart of Peter’s life. He was married to his late wife for 60 wonderful years, a partnership built on love and commitment. Together they raised two children, and today Peter is the proud grandfather of four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
At 100, Peter continues to enjoy the simple pleasures that have brought him happiness throughout his life. He has a fondness for visiting the bowls club, enjoys a good game of chess, and never turns down the chance to relax with a pint in good company.
The Wilton Manor community has taken this opportunity to celebrate Peter’s remarkable journey and the rich life he has lived and the joy he continues to bring to others.
Wilton Manor looks forward to continuing to share many more happy moments and celebrating the impact of those within the community.
