Residents at Tandridge Heights care home, in Oxted recently enjoyed an afternoon of games when the local school came to visit. The children from Hazelwood School visit residents at Tandridge Heights every week, this is a real highlight for everyone. They all spent time together playing games and chatting. The children ended their visit with a fantastic variety show filled with comedy and music.
The catering team at the care home provide a selection of healthy snacks on the day, including hand cut fruits and vegetables, as well as a spread of cakes and sweet treats for all to enjoy. Because it was Easter week the home could not let the children leave without an Egg each to enjoy.
Activities Coordinator, Kelly of Tandridge Heights, said: “The residents at our home had a wonderful afternoon with our visitors. The local school children challenged them to a game of scrabble, which went down really well. Moments like these remind us just how special it is to bring generations together. We’re already looking forward to their next visit after their well deserve Easter break.”
