March Memories at Russettings Residential Care Home

Last Updated: 20 Apr 2026 @ 00:00 AM

March 2026 was a month full of joy, connection, and celebration at Russettings Residential Care Home! Highlights included our heartwarming Mother's Day activities, where residents shared cherished memories of their mothers and motherhood. We also celebrated three March birthdays—Maya, Michael, and Edward—with laughter, cake, and heartfelt wishes.

The month was packed with engaging activities, from fun exercise sessions that kept everyone active and smiling to the delightful visits from local children. The little ones from Buttercup Barn nursery and Balcombe Primary School brought energy and joy, especially during the Easter play and singalong.

March also welcomed incredible musical performances by Lilly, Tania, Susanna, and Rosie, who got residents singing, dancing, and even shaking tambourines! Plus, our "Sharp Minds" quizzes challenged everyone’s knowledge on topics like Mother's Day, St. Patrick's Day, and Shakespeare. Finally, our unique animal visit gave residents the opportunity to meet and hold rare creatures like Tommy the Tenrec, Winston the Skinny Pig, and Barbara the Bearded Dragon—a truly unforgettable experience.
