Community Wellbeing & Fitness Morning

The Hickathrift House Care Home, in Marshland St James, Wisbech, hosted a special wellbeing event on Tuesday 21st April, the home welcomed guest speaker Victoria Louise Clarke, Victoria is a local fitness, Pilates and yoga instructor. Victoria spoke to visiting guests and residents about how we can better support ourselves and look after our own wellbeing through exercise and keeping active.

Residents and guests enjoyed an uplifting session with Victoria, who shared practical tips for boosting wellbeing and maintaining a positive mindset. Victoria was joined by members of the Emneth Over 60s Friendship Club, Donna Powell from APS Legal and members of the local community.

Hickathrift House Care Home has built up an excellent reputation within its local community. The home regularly organises events and activities for residents and neighbours, helping to strengthen community connections and support overall wellbeing.

“This morning was all about supporting wellbeing and giving our residents and guests the chance to enjoy something refreshing and inspiring. Our staff and the people who live here really embraced the session, it was a wonderful experience for everyone,” said Paula Melerski, General Manager of Hickathrift House.
