Braeburn Lodge Care Home in Deeping St James is set to play matchmaker this month as it opens its doors for an evening of socialising and new connections.
Barchester Healthcare’s Braeburn Lodge Care Home has invited the local community to a dedicated Singles Night, hosted in the home’s own Braeburn Community Cafe. On Monday 11th May, between 6:30pm and 8:30pm, guests aged 30 to 65 are invited to gather for an evening of relaxed conversation.
Attendees will be treated to complimentary snacks and drinks as they get to know one another in the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the cafe.
The event aims to bridge the gap between the care home and the wider community, offering a fun, safe space for locals to meet like-minded people. Whether you are looking for romance or simply want to expand your social circle, the evening is designed to be low-pressure and inclusive.
Jane Lee, General Manager of Braeburn Lodge Care Home, said: “We do our best to provide a wide range of activities and entertainment at Braeburn Lodge as part of our lifestyle enrichment programme, and this singles mixer is a fantastic way to bring people together. Living in or visiting a care home should be a vibrant, social experience, and our activities are designed to be enjoyed by our residents and the local community alike.”
Braeburn Lodge is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers, which is committed to delivering personalised care across its care homes and hospitals. Braeburn Lodge Care Home provides residential care, nursing care and dementia care for 60 residents from respite care to long term stays.
