We're opening our doors for Care Home Open Week 2026

Stratton House is marking the arrival of Care Home Open Week 2026 with plenty of fun activities including a sing-a-long and football-themed games.

From Monday 15th June to Friday 19th June, the home has one or more activities lined up for both visitors and residents.

This annual event, organised by Championing Social Care, aims to connect care homes with their local communities, showcasing the positive work of the care sector and providing opportunities for the public to visit and learn more about care homes.

Everyone is welcome to join for these events: Monday 15th June at 2pm: Reading and poetry group Tuesday 16th at 2.15pm: Talk by Tony Coverdale about ‘The Admiralty of Bath’ Wednesday 17th at 11am: Word puzzle & Quiz Thursday 18th June at 11am: Church service Thursday 18th June at 2pm: Sing-along with Emma from ‘Golden Oldies’ Friday 19th June at 11.15am: Seated movements/exercise to music Friday 19th June at 2.15pm: Football themed ‘Fun & Games’
