Majesticares Shining Star Award 2019 was awarded to Harriette who is The Head of Care at Blenheim House Care home in Wiltshire. The Shining Star Award is given to the employee who is best able to demonstrate a positive impact on residents, families and work colleagues and someone who incorporates Majesticare’s values into the work they achieve - These are Trust, Happiness, Family, Creativity and Heart. Harriette Carpenter was the winner based on the submitted evidence from her nominations, take a look at a few of the fantastic words spoken about Harriette, “supported everyone to upgrade environment and care for people”, “in a short space of time has proven to be a leader”, “very hard working”, “we are very lucky to have her”.

Harriette was asked what care meant to her during her nomination video and this is what she said, “care comes from the heart for me it's not just work it’s a person. Care for me it’s about having that loving heart and putting yourself in someone else’s shoes, giving that person centred approach because you can be a caring person but its about giving the right approach for that person you are caring for, it means a lot to me.”

The Shining Star Award was sponsored by Vertas Environmental and Mark Horner kindly came to the Majesticare awards evening to present the award personally to Harriette. Well Done Harriette you are a Majesticare Star.
