Mum was reluctant to come, but she was treated with such dignity. Mum has various food intolerances, but the chef arranged the food for her early, and Mum did not have any reactions to the food.
Taking mum home today, and she is reluctant to go!
Reply from Ann-Marie Baker, Customer Relationship Manager at Haddenham Park Care Home and ApartmentsThank you for sharing your lovely feedback. We're so pleased to hear that your mum felt treated with dignity and care, particularly as we know how important it is to get dietary needs just right. Our chef and team will be delighted to know their efforts made her stay comfortable and enjoyable, especially knowing she was reluctant to leave! We wish you both all the very best and thank you for trusting us with her care.

Nan came to Haddem Park Care Home for respite care following hospital discharge. The residence itself is stunning - bright, airy and modern. Staff are absolutely wonderful - highly attentive, friendly and caring. On arrival, Nan was underweight and in need of some TLC - she left with mobility, the same
as before her hospital admission and had gained some valuable weight. Could not recommend more.
Reply from Ann-Marie Baker, Customer Relationship Manager at Haddenham Park Care Home and ApartmentsThank you for your kind review and for sharing your Nan's experience with us. We're so pleased to hear that her respite stay supported her recovery following hospital discharge, and that she left feeling stronger and more like herself. Your lovely comments about our home and team mean a great deal, as providing attentive, compassionate care is at the heart of what we do. Thank you again for your recommendation. We wish your Nan continued good health.

My father is always made to feel extremely welcome when he comes to visit his friend. I often drop him off in the morning and pick him up around 6pm, the staff are always kind to him and look out for him. I'm always happy when I know he can get out of the house and is safe for the day.

I have power of attorney for a resident at this care home. He came to the home after a long spell in hospital which traumatised him greatly. During his hospital stay he acquired a grade 4 pressure sore which was getting frequently infected. He arrived at the home in October 2025 and was welcomed with
open arms. The actual transfer plans were difficult and had to be delayed a number of times due to the hospital not being prepared for transfer.

His sore is now almost healed and he has not had another infection since he arrived. He is now at the stage where he is nearly ready to mobilise. He loves the food and the care has been second to none. I, as a visitor, am welcomed with smiles. All of my queries are answered fully and in a timely manner. I have been a care manager and nurse for much of my life and have also worked for the CQC so I don't write this review lightly. The home itself is beautiful with grounds that help the positive factors for both the residents and visitors.

Reply from Victoria Hornibrook, Home Manager at Milton Ernest Hall Care HomeThank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review.

We are truly grateful that you took the time to share your experience, especially given your extensive professional background in care and regulation. Your feedback means a great deal to our entire team.

It has been a privilege to support both you and your loved one during what we understand has been a very challenging journey following his hospital stay. We also are delighted that he has made such significant progress, particularly with the healing of his pressure sore and his move towards mobilising again. This is a testament not only to his resilience but also to the dedication and commitment of our care and nursing teams.

Your kind words about the quality of care, the food, and the welcoming atmosphere for visitors are greatly appreciated. We strive to create a supportive, compassionate, and homely environment for both residents and their families, so it is wonderful to know that this has been your experience.

From the caring and supportive attitude of staff to the excellent standard of accommodation and catering. The only way to describe the experience is 'excellent'. The same can be said for the overall facilities and the total experience. I have no hesitation in recommending this facility and its level

We attended a wonderful Mother's Day celebration at Haddenham Park Care Home. We enjoyed a singer/music, flowers, afternoon tea and champagne. It was very special and we are very grateful this was organised so we could spend the day with our mother.
There was a photographer there taking a family photo
which they plan to give a copy to our mother so that she and we can remember our special day.

My husband initially spent 3 weeks respite care at Milton Ernest Hall Care Home, nearly 2 years ago, when he was soon made 'part of the family'. When, a few weeks ago, I realised that I could no longer care for him on my own at home. I had no hesitation in contacting Victoria to ask if he could come
back on a permanent basis, and he and I were welcomed back with open arms. The staff are amazing, and despite his often 'challenging' behaviour due to advanced dementia, they just know how to calm him down. He loves his food and enjoys outings to local country parks and going out for pub lunches. A special thank you to his 'special carer' who goes above and beyond with her love and care for us both.
Reply from Vicky Hornibrook, Home Manager at Milton Ernest Hall Care HomeThank you so much for your kind and heartfelt review.

We are so pleased that your husband felt welcomed and comfortable during his respite stay and that returning to Milton Ernest Hall felt like coming back to family. Supporting both our residents and their loved ones during such important transitions is something we care deeply about.

Your lovely words about our team will mean so much to them. We are incredibly proud of the compassion, patience, and dedication they show every day, especially when supporting residents living with advanced dementia. It's wonderful to hear that your husband is enjoying his meals, outings to local country parks, and pub lunches too.

We will be sure to pass on your special thanks to his 'special carer' - it's always heart-warming to hear when a team member has made such a positive difference.

Thank you once again for your kind words.

On arriving at Haddenham park, you are immediately impressed by the environment- it's a stunning place. Then you meet the staff, welcoming, well presented and so helpful, the pride in what they do shines out of them. Then you meet the residents, different people with differing needs. My overall impression
is that they are heard as individuals; not just their physical needs are met, but emotional too. There are plenty of activities for them to participate in, I was particularly impressed by their activity coordinator.
I would highly recommend Haddenham Park to anyone.

Mum's lived on her own ,being very independent since her partner passed away some 10 years ago, she started to have some issues with mobility and falls and after a spell in hospital realised she couldn't manage at home.
Me and my sister started to look into the possibility of a care home , Cavendish
Park was recommended to us and after a phone call arrived there to have a look around.
I think that after the first 10 minutes of being there our minds were made up to try and let mum stay here.
Mel the manager was really clear and helpful about everything we needed to know ,there was a room available and she reserved this for mum for when she came out of hospital, a lovely lady visited mum in hospital for an assessment and mum arrived two days later to a really friendly, professional home. The facilities are wonderful, with very genuinely caring staff, family can visit at anytime and made most welcome. I would have absolutely no concerns about letting a loved one stay here.
The very best.

My grandma is currently on respite here.
Shes adjusting slowly (which of course will always be the case) but the facilities are truly outstanding. with rooms cleaned daily, modern amenities and daily laundry done also, its a comfort for not only her, but also ourselves.
members of staff seem very
friendly from the receptionist, to the carers and of course Rob the chef (always smiling, always checking in and always cooking great food, an absolute credit to the company and my grandma agrees also)

Mum has been a resident at Cavendish Park since Nov 2019. The care she has received since then has been exceptional. Mum absolutely loves the home and the friends she has made there. I am greeted like part of the family and I am so so happy that Cavendish Park opened near us, when it did. We are very
lucky.
The team are all fantastic and that's due to the amazing leadership of the home management- who are professional, accessible, friendly and consistent. Mum's room and the public areas are beautiful and well maintained. The housekeeping team are exceptional. I cannot remember a single time when there's been an issue with laundry. The team of nurses and carers, who look after Mum day to day, are wonderful and have always treated Mum with great kindness, dignity and respect- especially as her needs have changed. As for activities - well- there's always something different going on and the range is fantastic and high quality. We could not wish for a better, happier home.

From the moment you enter the reception, you know that this care home is exceptional. The impression is more of a hotel or cruise ship with plush furnishings, flowers, newspapers and the library and hair salon off the main reception area.
My lovely Mum has been a happy resident since 2022 and I have
not seen her so happy in years. She has numerous activities to choose from and enjoys engaging with other residents.
Each floor has its own restaurant and lounge as well as The Bistro on the ground floor where most activities take place.
There is also a private dining room available for family functions. The cinema is also on the ground floor.
Nothing is too much trouble for the cheerful and professional staff, who treat the residents with care and respect. There are regular residents and relatives meetings to take feedback and keep everyone up to date.
Put simply, it is a residence that I would aspire to stay in my later years.
