The staff were very helpful and compassionate towards my sister. Whilst her care needs were not extensive I felt she was given a little too much independence and I had to push for ensuring my sister changed her clothes and showered more often. This was an extremely valuable period of respite for my sister.

A warm welcome and reassurance that my Mum is happy and well cared for here. From the first step through the door I felt so reassured that my Mum would be in good hands. She's very happy here and I often see her smiling and laughing during activities and trips out which are posted on social media regularly, ensuring our family stay connected. Huge thanks to the Activity staff at Oaktree Court who have embraced my mum's passion for crosswords and archeology! They have organised regular clubs and outings which mum has loved, It has allowed her to reconnect with old friends and to keep her brain active, we are very grateful!

Overall our experience with Oaktree is excellent. All the staff are caring, polite, compassionate with a good appropriate sense of humour. Our family have peace of mind, knowing our relative is well looked after and safe at all times. Her needs and preferences are always taken notice of. All levels of staff are patient and welcoming at all times. We would recommend Oaktree Court to anyone.

Majority of staff are very caring but too busy to chat. Activities team, are very kind and good at their job. Could do more outside activities in the summer. There just needs to be more organisation and a manager!!

This review is about my wife's 5th respite stay. She has vascular dementia. Apart from an initial issue regarding the booking, only this time, I cannot fault the care and support she received from all staff on each of her visits. She looks forward to her ongoing respite care stays. My personal thanks to all for this ongoing regular respite facility.

Mum moved into Cavendish Park from hospital for end of life care last year June. We felt welcomed from the moment we walked into the home. The care mum received as a resident was exceptional and I have no doubt that the quality of care she received extended her life by several months. All the staff who looked after her treated her with kindness and respect and it was comforting for us to know that she was being so well looked after. The staff also looked after and cared for us during some difficult times. It is a great comfort for us to know that she passed away peacefully in a loving and calm environment. We are so grateful for the love and support that mum received during the last year of her life, and for the kindness and support we have received whilst mum has been there. Cavendish Park really is a wonderful place.

Mum was admitted to Cavendish Park for "end of life" nursing care in June 2025. . Her bright room on the first floor was always comfortable and clean. The care she received was magnificent from her arrival and after a few days she was able to enjoy meals and company in the dining room! This was just the beginning of the attention given to both her physical and mental well being. During her 11 month stay we enjoyed time in the gardens, as a family celebrated her 97th birthday, as well as Christmas, Mothers Day and Easter! Cavendish Park is very special. Everyone greets you with warmth. The nurses and clinical staff exude compassion. The carers take time to know the residents and always treat them well and with good humour. The housekeeping, laundry and catering teams do an amazing job . We always feel welcomed into the home at reception. I cannot praise or thank you enough for Mum's wonderful care . Everything has been faultless. Thank you all

My father is always made to feel extremely welcome when he comes to visit his friend. I often drop him off in the morning and pick him up around 6pm, the staff are always kind to him and look out for him. I'm always happy when I know he can get out of the house and is safe for the day.

Wonderful care home with wonderful staff.

My mother Thelma lived in Cavendish Park Care Home from January 7th 2026. The home was warm and welcoming. The room was always kept clean and tidy. It was very nice to have meals cooked for her and she enjoyed them, including a pudding. The staff are very caring and kind and help in all aspects of her life. I would recommend this home to anyone.

members of staff seem very friendly from the receptionist, to the carers and of course Rob the chef (always smiling, always checking in and always cooking great food, an absolute credit to the company and my grandma agrees also)

The team are all fantastic and that's due to the amazing leadership of the home management- who are professional, accessible, friendly and consistent. Mum's room and the public areas are beautiful and well maintained. The housekeeping team are exceptional. I cannot remember a single time when there's been an issue with laundry. The team of nurses and carers, who look after Mum day to day, are wonderful and have always treated Mum with great kindness, dignity and respect- especially as her needs have changed. As for activities - well- there's always something different going on and the range is fantastic and high quality. We could not wish for a better, happier home.

High standards are always maintained at CP - whether in cleanliness, a warm welcome, access to activities, humour and calm re-assurance/flexibility in meeting residents needs. Everybody in the staff team is approachable and nothing is too much trouble for them. Staff members are all proactive in making sure residents needs are met.

Put simply, it is a residence that I would aspire to stay in my later years.

The whole staff team are kind, approachable and are helping Mum to settle in where we are confident she will have the best care and fun possible.
