Care Homes Owned by Majesticare

After being rather apprehensive about my new 'way of life' initially, I was soon very reassured by the kind help from every level of care. This included the luxurious bedroom with 'ensuite' facility, with bed made and room tidied and cleaned every day, to the wonderful choice of food, with extra drinks (and eats!) if wanted. These are also possible for any visitors who are welcomed very well. The other excellent thing is the many different types of activities we have, from making flowers, painting, glasswork, to singing for well-being and having a brilliant pianist in regularly. Also excellent is all the different keep-fit sessions - keeps muscles fit.

Staying at this care home, surpassed all my expectations, ten fold, it's like being in a 5 star hotel but better. All of the staff are extremely caring and happy. Everything is off the highest quality it's like living with a large family, and that says a lot. I am in for respite (wishing I could stay longer) and every part of my care has been second to none. I can not praise all these lovely people enough. You have to come to experience it yourself.

When my dad became a resident he had had a series of falls, a 5-week hospitalisation and an unsatisfactory month with a live-in carer. He had high blood pressure, low appetite and looked unwell. Within weeks his health, appetite, sociability and general well-being had improved, following his arrival at Haddenham Park. The quality of the communication, the sense of ownership of his room, the food and above all the caring staff have been exceptional. From someone who had always rejected the idea of living in a care home, he is a complete convert now. Thank you to the whole team. Dad and his family are very grateful.

The staff were very helpful and compassionate towards my sister. Whilst her care needs were not extensive I felt she was given a little too much independence and I had to push for ensuring my sister changed her clothes and showered more often. This was an extremely valuable period of respite for my sister.

My Mother-in-Law spent a very happy last year of her life at Haddenham Park supported by dedicated and caring staff. They had a genuine desire to look after her to the best of their abilities and we were absolutely content that she was safe and cared for. That was a real tonic for us during the last month in particular

Mum spent the last year of her life at Haddenham Park, and I cannot think of anywhere that I would rather she had been. The home is beautiful, the rooms are stunning. More importantly, the care that she received over the year of her declining health and dementia was exemplary, The nurses were outstanding. Reception staff were always welcoming, and the food was beautifully presented. I have recommended Haddenham Park to friends, and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

She's very happy here and I often see her smiling and laughing during activities and trips out which are posted on social media regularly, ensuring our family stay connected. Huge thanks to the Activity staff at Oaktree Court who have embraced my mum's passion for crosswords and archeology! They have organised regular clubs and outings which mum has loved, It has allowed her to reconnect with old friends and to keep her brain active, we are very grateful!

Overall our experience with Oaktree is excellent. All the staff are caring, polite, compassionate with a good appropriate sense of humour. Our family have peace of mind, knowing our relative is well looked after and safe at all times. Her needs and preferences are always taken notice of. All levels of staff are patient and welcoming at all times. We would recommend Oaktree Court to anyone.

Majority of staff are very caring but too busy to chat. Activities team, are very kind and good at their job. Could do more outside activities in the summer. There just needs to be more organisation and a manager!!

This review is about my wife's 5th respite stay. She has vascular dementia. Apart from an initial issue regarding the booking, only this time, I cannot fault the care and support she received from all staff on each of her visits. She looks forward to her ongoing respite care stays. My personal thanks to all for this ongoing regular respite facility.

Grandad was treated very well by all of the staff here. He really enjoyed his multiple stays at Haddenham Park and also found everyone there lovely. The facilities were excellent and the room he was given was also really nice and well done.

I have been incredibly impressed with Haddenham Park. They took wonderful care of a close friend at the end of his life. All the staff at Haddenham Park made me feel truly welcomed and taken care of, which meant I was able to focus on supporting his wife. Everyone was so kind, making time for chats, bringing food and drink or advising us all. The home is extremely clean, well looked after and welcoming making it a very pleasant place to spend time whatever the circumstances. The staff are all amazing.

A respite care stay for my husband unexpectedly became end of life care. This was obviously a difficult time for me and my family, but I cannot praise the way this was dealt with and care he received from Haddenham Park highly enough. All the staff, whatever their role, from management to nursing to housekeeping showed us all perfect loving care. Everything we needed was taken care of in a beautiful way. Even after this sad event Haddenham Park is still some where I am very happy to visit, and they always greet me with genuine warmth and coffee and cake!

Mum moved into Cavendish Park from hospital for end of life care last year June. We felt welcomed from the moment we walked into the home. The care mum received as a resident was exceptional and I have no doubt that the quality of care she received extended her life by several months. All the staff who looked after her treated her with kindness and respect and it was comforting for us to know that she was being so well looked after. The staff also looked after and cared for us during some difficult times. It is a great comfort for us to know that she passed away peacefully in a loving and calm environment. We are so grateful for the love and support that mum received during the last year of her life, and for the kindness and support we have received whilst mum has been there. Cavendish Park really is a wonderful place.
