A warm welcome and reassurance that my Mum is happy and well cared for here. From the first step through the door I felt so reassured that my Mum would be in good hands. She's very happy here and I often see her smiling and laughing during activities and trips out which are posted on social media regularly, ensuring our family stay connected. Huge thanks to the Activity staff at Oaktree Court who have embraced my mum's passion for crosswords and archeology! They have organised regular clubs and outings which mum has loved, It has allowed her to reconnect with old friends and to keep her brain active, we are very grateful!

Overall our experience with Oaktree is excellent. All the staff are caring, polite, compassionate with a good appropriate sense of humour. Our family have peace of mind, knowing our relative is well looked after and safe at all times. Her needs and preferences are always taken notice of. All levels of staff are patient and welcoming at all times. We would recommend Oaktree Court to anyone.

Majority of staff are very caring but too busy to chat. Activities team, are very kind and good at their job. Could do more outside activities in the summer. There just needs to be more organisation and a manager!!

This review is about my wife's 5th respite stay. She has vascular dementia. Apart from an initial issue regarding the booking, only this time, I cannot fault the care and support she received from all staff on each of her visits. She looks forward to her ongoing respite care stays. My personal thanks to all for this ongoing regular respite facility.

My father is always made to feel extremely welcome when he comes to visit his friend. I often drop him off in the morning and pick him up around 6pm, the staff are always kind to him and look out for him. I'm always happy when I know he can get out of the house and is safe for the day.

Mum's final three months were the hardest but again her stoicism and strength showed through even in the darkest of times. We visited every day and soon found ourselves as much cared for as Mum, and were forever grateful for the kindness and care present everywhere there. The nurses, the carers, whose magical touch, I am sure, kept Mum with us for just a bit longer, the cleaners, the chefs, the reception ladies, the entertainment team – they are all angels to us.

Ann's care moved from dementia through to 'end of life'. When it became clear that her life was coming to an end, two staff members kept her company and provided the love and reassurance she needed. For this we cannot be too grateful. Oaktree Court is a very fine place, efficiently managed and in so many ways a delight.

Oaktree provide a care second to none. From our initial visit to when we took mum, everyone who works there was so kind and caring to us as relatives as much as for our mum whose home it become. The home is very well maintained, it is a beautiful setting and it feels like home from home for us too. Cannot fault the dedication of everyone who worked there. The atmosphere is so welcoming and happy. Will forever be grateful for all they did for us as a family.

The activities coordinators arranged Par our Mum to have a longed-for meet and cuddle with a beautiful cat. She misses hers dearly and this thoughtfulness and dedication to making her life enjoyable was wonderful. Thank you so much. You are all amazing.

I have found all the staff approachable and appear happy in their caring roles. The home definitely has a family/homely feel which I particularly recommend it.

I have often visited Oaktree Court for community events, over the last six years. I love its grounds and communal coffee area and having the chance to support them but also chat to some of the residents, who not only love to have different visitors and company telling you their stories but also listening to how they love living there. It is also great to see so many of the same staff who have been there for a number of years, which must be reassuring and supportive for residents. Especially given the industry.

Inside activities are imaginative and interesting, group outings brilliant and much appreciated - we have been very pleasantly surprised by how much our relative joins in the activities and with the encouragement given by the carers.

A warm smile from receptionist on arrival, helpful support and advice if needed, offer of refreshment when/if needed - and most important, the content, relaxed smiles of residents being visited. Who could ask for anything more?

I have been living here since August 2023. Was very nervous about coming here, but found it to be a lovely place. The staff are all very helpful.

My mum has been living here for about six months. The staff are very friendly and very good with my mum. As of yet, I can't find fault with anything. She is very happy here.

Oak Tree has looked after my mother since April 2018 beautifully. She thoroughly enjoyed life at Oak Tree and all the activities on offer until she developed dementia. The staff have been wonderful, especially one particular member of staff. We cannot thank all of the team at Oak Tree enough for their care especially in her final few weeks before she passed away.

The staff at Oaktree Court Care Home are always very helpful and friendly when we visit. If we have a query they are always happy to talk to us about it. During recent anniversary and birthday celebrations, they were so lovely and nothing was too much trouble, it really made the days special. Thank you so much.

Oaktree Court is a care home that provides excellent care in a lovely setting and I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful care my mother is receiving. She has been at Oaktree Court for five months now and right from the start she was made to feel very welcome and well looked after. All the staff, in whatever capacity, are caring, concerned and supportive in such a way as to create a sense of family. They are always cheerful, kind and patient. Over these five months my mother has become her happy self again and has the feeling that there is always someone there in she needs them. Oaktree Court has high standards of hygiene, the level of communication are also always good with e-mail updates and phone calls if necessary. Thank you to all the staff for taking such great care of my mother.
