A very good friend was recently placed into this new care home.
He was transferred to Haddenham Park from The Hospital.
He was visited whilst still in the hospital & examined & the Care Home agreed to accept him even though he was being discharged very early following an emergency admission.
He &
his family were made very welcome & every attention to his medical state was attended to in a very professional manner. I was very impressed with the nursing staff.
The family were also accorded every attention & care.
Our friend actually described Haddenham Park as a Hotel.
After care was also extremely good: the staff @ The Care Home following up & attending to every detail.
Everything is luxurious & very clean. The staff are welcoming & very well trained.
I am impressed with how hard the staff work to make anyone visiting or coming to stay here both welcomed & comfortable: this is a luxury Care Home that attends to every need.

I cannot recommend Haddenham Park Care Home enough. Mum came to the home in July, after sadly losing her husband who was her carer. It was such a difficult and emotional decision to make but the team at Haddenham guided and supported us through the whole process with empathy and efficiency. Of course
it has been a difficult transition for Mum, but it was all new territory for us too. Every member of staff has been so kind and supportive to us all, and Mum is making very good progress and joining in the daily activities. We know that she's receiving the best care, in the most beautiful and comfortable environment, which it has to be said is like a five star hotel. A nail salon, hair salon, gym, spa room, cinema bar and restaurants.
We couldn't be more grateful to all the wonderful staff.
Reply from Chip, Customer Relations Manager at Haddenham Park Care Home and ApartmentsThank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. It means the world to all of us here at Haddenham Park to know that your mum - and your whole family - have felt so supported throughout what we know has been an emotional journey.
Making a move into a care home can be difficult for everyone involved, and we're truly grateful that you placed your trust in our team to guide you through it. It's wonderful to hear that your mum is settling in, joining in with activities, and beginning to feel at home - that's exactly what we hope for every resident who becomes part of the Haddenham Park family.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience and for allowing us to be part of your mum's next chapter.

I and 2 other friends visited to join our friend who has recently become a resident. We were welcomed and offered drinks - we spent 2 hours playing cards and were provided with tea and snacks by the staff. Beautiful home with lots of amenities.

My husband's Respite stay in Haddenham Park was wonderful for both of us! I was able to both sleep and enjoy a holiday away from my responsibilities! Secure in the knowledge that my husband ,who is recovering from a stroke would be fully looked after!! This was certainly true, He had an amazing time
where he was treated like royalty, nothing was too much trouble whether this was his routine toilet needs, or being helped to make best choices about how to spend his day and negotiate an always tasty menu for the day!!
All of this culminated in a wonderful 80th Birthday Party which happened towards the end of his stay. This was an excellent and memorable event. To accommodate the particular needs of his friends and family, the celebration happened at the same time over 2 Days! Carers and Haddenham Park went the extra mile to provide a caring but spectacular Happy Birthday!! All his guests were very impressed to find him in a ' five star ' hotel or was it an Art gallery?!
Fantastic

Current Review Score: 8.8 (8.792)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.8 (8.792) out of 10 for Haddenham Park Care Home and Apartments is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 5 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.8 out of 5 from 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.983 for Haddenham Park Care Home and Apartments is calculated as follows: ( (59 Excellents x 5) + (1 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 60 Ratings = 4.983
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.809 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Haddenham Park Care Home and Apartments is based on 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.5
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 81 registered maximum number of service users is 16.2. 5 Positive Reviews ÷ 16.2 = 0.309
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2025

Hello, I’m Tania, the Home Manager here at Haddenham Park.

I’ve worked in health and social care for over 30 years, and it’s always been far more than just a job to me — it’s a calling. I began my career on the frontline, where I learnt the true value of kindness, dignity, and taking the time to understand each person as an individual. Those early experiences shaped the way I lead today, ensuring that every decision we make keeps our residents at the very heart of what we do.

Over the years, I’ve supported people living with complex needs, dementia, and mental health conditions, always with a focus on truly personalised, compassionate care. I’ve had the privilege of leading dedicated teams and working alongside incredible professionals who share the same commitment to excellence. One of my proudest achievements was leading a nursing home to achieve Outstanding CQC ratings across all five areas for six consecutive years — a reflection of teamwork, consistency, and care that always comes from the heart.

I believe that great care starts with genuine relationships — being approachable, present, and taking the time to listen. At Haddenham Park, I’m passionate about co-production, collaboration, and exploring new and innovative ways to help people live happier, more fulfilling lives. Whether through technology, creativity, or simple human connection, I’m always looking for opportunities to make every day meaningful for those we support.

This role is a privilege, and I’m so proud to lead a team that truly puts heart, dignity, and happiness into everything we do here at Haddenham Park.

Hi, I’m Ann-Marie, the Customer Relations Manager here at Haddenham Park!

With over 10 years of experience in customer relations, I’ve found my passion in supporting families during one of life’s biggest decisions. My role is all about blending empathy with clear communication, ensuring that every family feels informed, reassured, and truly cared for from the very first conversation.

I understand that choosing the right home can feel overwhelming, so I take pride in listening deeply, answering questions with honesty, and offering guidance tailored to each family’s unique situation. For me, it’s not just about providing information; it’s about creating trust and building meaningful relationships that last well beyond move-in day.

What I love most about this role is being the bridge that connects people – whether that’s welcoming new residents and their families, supporting them through the transition, or developing partnerships within our local community. From linking with local groups and volunteers to organising opportunities that enrich life here at Haddenham Park, I believe in making every connection count.

Outside of work, you’ll most likely find me at the coast – the seaside is my happy place! Whether it’s a quiet walk along the beach or a weekend exploring the shoreline, being near the water is where I feel most relaxed and recharged.

Every day at Haddenham Park reminds me why I do what I do: helping people feel at home, supported, and valued from the very beginning.

Job Title: Activity Coordinator Lead Joined: 2025

Hello, I’m Nic, the Activity Co-ordinator Lead here at our lovely Care Home, Haddenham Park!

Creativity and caring for others have always been at the heart of who I am. Originally from South Africa, I’ve brought with me a deep love for design, the arts, and connecting with people through meaningful experiences. I’ve always had a passion for creativity; whether it’s crafting, planning events, or growing something beautiful in the garden. I find true joy in making others smile and helping them feel seen, valued, and inspired.

My background is rooted in both artistic expression and community care, which gives me a unique perspective in this role. I love designing engaging activities that speak to each resident’s individual story, hobbies, and interests, while also encouraging social interaction, creativity, and wellbeing.

At Haddenham Park, I lead a variety of activities and themed events, both big and small, from personalised “Just for Me” moments to larger community days. Whether it’s a peaceful gardening session, a hands-on craft workshop, or a joyful singalong in the sunshine, my goal is to make every day meaningful for our residents. I also work closely with families, staff, and local groups to build strong, supportive connections that go beyond our care home walls.

This role is more than a job; it’s my calling, and I’m proud to be part of a team that puts heart, dignity, and happiness into everything we do.

Claudette

Claudette Bishop

Job Title: Head of Housekeeping Joined: 2025

Hello, my name is Claudette, and I’m proud to be the Head Housekeeper here at Haddenham Park!

I’ve been dedicated to cleaning and housekeeping since I was just 14 years old, and it’s a career that has taken me through hotels, schools, colleges, and care homes – as well as time spent as a teaching assistant and even three years as an Army Reservist when I was 17. Along the way, I’ve gained NVQ qualifications in both Housekeeping and Beauty Therapy, and I’ve held Head Housekeeper roles for many years before joining Haddenham Park in July 2025.

For me, housekeeping is about so much more than cleaning. I love the sense of achievement that comes from creating a spotless, welcoming environment every single day – and in a care home setting, that’s especially meaningful. I get to meet incredible residents with equally incredible life stories, and ensuring their home is clean, comfortable, and dignified feels like such an important way to contribute to their well-being.

Outside of work, I’m a very active person! I love running, walking, camping, and spending time with my family – including my four children, two dogs, and a cat. Running has been a huge part of my life: I’ve completed a full marathon, 12 half marathons, countless 10ks, and I still enjoy a Saturday Park Run when I’m not working. Many of my runs have been in support of charities close to my heart, such as Help for Heroes, Cancer Research, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Brain Tumour Research, and Dementia Research – I’ve even done a tandem skydive to raise funds! Coming up, I’ll be running a half-marathon for Sobell House Hospice in October 2025, followed by another in March 2026 for Brain Tumour Research. One of my big dreams is to take on the Three Peaks Challenge one day.

Housekeeping may keep me fit, but more importantly, it allows me to give something back each day. At Haddenham Park, I’m committed to ensuring that every resident, family member, and visitor feels the warmth of a truly cared-for home the moment they step inside.
