At a live virtual ceremony on Friday 2nd October, Chris Guest, Lifestyle and Community Liaison Lead at Blenheim House Care Home in Melksham, Wiltshire WON NAPA’s (National Activity Providers Association) ‘Activity Leadership Award’!

He has always gone above and beyond to make sure that the resident activities are truly one of a kind!

He’s introduced innovative, stimulating and engaging activities and at the forefront of these are what Chris calls ‘Resident-led” activities’.

Dedicated to creating personalised memories, “Resident-led” activities Chris and his wonderful team take the time to learn life histories, passions & hobbies, past, present or desired…each journey begins with a conversation, a shared memory and laughter.

Through sharing memories & passions, true friendships develop, enabling Chris and the activities team to create a unique ‘resident-led’ experience, that is often shared and enjoyed by everyone in the Blenheim House community.
