View Full Details of Woodlands CourtThe care home is a wonderful, welcoming place, very joyful and friendly. The staff are brilliant very supportive and go above and beyond to help residents and families. My dad loved the home and all the staff. They had him singing and laughing all the time. Brilliant home with an amazing management team who go out of their way to support everyone.
I am beyond grateful for the wonderful care my mum received during her stay at Woodlands Court Care home, Kirton, Boston,. During her three year stay I visited her frequently and saw for myself how well the staff got to know my mum and understood her individual needs. The staff were very kind and caring, and everything possible was done to help make my mum happy and comfortable, from clean clothes, a clean room and bathroom to delicious home cooked meals and help with personal care, everyone worked so hard. The management and nursing staff are excellent, very approachable, always ready to listen and to help sort out any concerns with sympathy and empathy. As the building is all on ground level my mum was able to walk around safely which helped to keep her active which she enjoyed. Her room, with big patio doors overlooked the pretty garden which she loved, and during her three years there she often said "This is the next best place to home."
The staff are wonderful, show upmost compassion for residents. Always friendly and keen to know any details which will improve my mums stay. Her likes, dislikes etc. They are like one big family. It's the staff which make any care home and I feel they've hit the jackpot with the staff and managers here.
This care home is lovely, the place, the staff, everything. The staff are wonderful with residents and families never felt so loved by people at a hard time. If I ever hear a person needing help to get into a home, I will forever recommend this brilliant place. My dad loved each and every member of staff, and they made him laugh, sing and be himself.
Excellent communication, excellent care. Staff are fantastic.
My daughter came to Woodlands in October 2023 for end-of-life care. From the very first meeting, we were extremely happy with everything. The staff and management were amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them we were always informed of everything every step of the way and they gave their time to stop and chat with us. We were allowed to stay with her 24/7 in the last month and the care they not only showed her but to us was first class. She was looked after so very well and all her needs were met. They made a sad time just a little easier to cope with.
My mum gets the best care provided, nothing is trouble for the staff and all the staff are polite.
My father has been very well cared for since his arrival in July 2023. Although bedridden his state of health has improved significantly. His room is comfortable and benefits from a patio door overlooking a garden area. All staff are friendly and caring and are a credit to their profession. A mix of ages of staff is an asset and there is an air of respect, despite sometimes being stretched in terms of time. In many ways, the friendliness of the carers to both dad and myself is a greater asset than the physical surroundings. From my perspective, the home is run efficiently and effectively. In terms of developments, I would love to see the one despicable door in the long corridor with a coat of paint, but I am aware that some redecoration is beginning to take place. I would also love to see better care taken of the grass in the back garden, maybe planting some small cherry trees or similar along the fenceline where a large oak has been felled. Maybe families could be asked to fund a tree.
Great care by all the staff and very friendly.
The staff and carers are all very professional, caring and most helpful. The staff always contact me without delay if there are any changes to my mother's well-being.
I find all staff very friendly and helpful. Always listen to me whether it's a phone call or a visit. My mother can be very demanding and always has problems, the staff deal very well in all situations. Her room is always clean and well presented, even with all the drinks spilt on the carpet - which is regularly cleaned! Well done to all staff.
Thought that the physical location with its access to outdoors was excellent. The internal layout was also good. Found all grades of staff very experienced, efficient, reliable, patient, kind and understanding. Would particularly like to thank the nurses. Felt that the level of care and ability to trust in that level of care was excellent. The overall general feeling in Woodlands is good.
This home is all good in every way. My dad was very well looked after.
My mother was admitted after a short stay at the Butterfly Hospice for pain management and end-of-life/palliative care. Although we were only part of the Woodlands Court family for a very short period, we felt that the love and support shown to our mum and us during this very difficult time on our shared journey with mum was outstanding. Everything that could be done was! All the staff treated mum with respect and cared for her, making her comfortable, talking and spending time with her when we could not. Amazing 'family atmosphere'. Thank you.
All staff are very helpful and accommodating. All questions answered and suggestions taken on board. The room is very clean and warm, and the view to the garden is fabulous. Could not ask for anything more of the team.
I was in a very upset state of mind looking after my dad at home by myself. The senior team were extremely helpful with me getting my dad settled in Woodlands Court, first respite then permanently. Their care and compassion towards me and my dad were great. I just feel the home is a little dated, but this does not lessen their care.
Whilst my wife was in your care we found the bedroom warm and pleasant at all times with a view of the garden and wildlife. The warmth love and attention by all staff was first class and for this, I want to say many thanks.
My aunt has been in this care home for over seven years and her care has been wonderful. I find the staff very friendly, helpful and caring. If I want to know anything I can ask anything. I certainly would not move her anywhere else.
My partner is a very poorly and vulnerable gentleman in Woodlands Court (nursing wing). He has been a resident for three years having been moved from another home compulsorily closed down by the CQC. The staff, every single member, form a very close-knit community and before/throughout the pandemic have gone above and beyond their calling to keep our loved ones safe. They have (and do) treat my partner with the utmost care and respect, maintaining his dignity at all times. I feel very included in this blanket of warmth that enfolds us.
My mum was provided with fast track/ palliative care for end of life care by the NHS. I was given a choice of 5 homes. I chose Woodlands Court for several reasons:- their CQC rating, the attitude of the staff nurse who showed me around (without an appointment) and the location and facilities. My instincts of 'first impression' was followed up by the care, consideration and kindness my mum and her family were treated with. Mum, unfortunately, died on 22.12.18 with her family with her and I am very grateful to Woodland Court staff for their approach to her last 3 weeks.
