View Full Details of Richmond Court Nursing HomeThe staff at richmond court are always very helpful. I cannot fault the care that my mother receives from the staff at richmond court. The building would benifit from a refurbishment and the rooms are basic for the weekly price that she is charged, however once you look past this the care staff do an excellent job of looking after my mum and will go out of their way to help her. Many thanks to all the staff.
When visiting I always received a warm friendly welcome. Any questions about my brothers welfare are soon answered. The staff are led by a very good manager who soon answers any questions I have, or soon finds out. When my brother had a recent illness he was well looked after and soon taken to hospital, from where I didn't think he would return neither did the doctors. When he returned, with their care, he was soon back to normal.
Richmond Court has provided outstanding care for my aunt for over 12years. The staff show compassion, care and interest. She is now 101 years young, and she is very happy and considers the staff part of her family. I feel I never have to worry about whether she is receiving the best care as the staff are on top of every aspect of it.
I have no objections to the conditions and care in this. Thank you.
I cannot recommend this home too much. My sister and her husband were placed in their care in January. Unfortunately, my sister passed away suddenly in February, but the staff were amazing, and anyway, looking after my brother-in-law, any problems, they will be in touch, can't recommend the home enough
All the staff at richmound court have been very kind and helpful with my mom, my daughter loves to stay with her nan and the home let my her stay all day with her and my daughter said the staff were very caring with all the residents. Both the manger and deputy manager were also very kind and caring. I belive there kindness to be just what every care home should be like.
Richmond Court have been brilliant with the care of my mum since 2020. Their communication, reliability , and overall friendliness makes the situation so much easier. One particular nurse is extremely supportive and caring, and I can't begin to explain what a difference this makes. I know my mum is safe, secure and well looked after and living such a long way away so extremely important . Thank you to the team
My Dad was admitted to Richmond Court on Christmas Eve 2022. He can be quite difficult & at first was quite hostile to the staff, as he felt he had been pushed from pillar to post. However the way they have taken care of him has been fantastic. He was admitted with wounds caused by the lack of care he had received previously. He has settled in very well now & has good rapports with the staff. He is like a different person. The care he receives is brilliant. His wounds have almost healed, which considering how bad they were is proof of the good care that is taken of him. I myself have always found the staff to be very personable, & nothing is too much trouble for them. This is especially good for me as I live over 200 miles away. It gives me peace of mind to know that my Dad is receiving this level of care
Each time we visit, we are made very welcome. All the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. My sister is well looked after and cared for and seems to be happy when we visit. A very good all-round service.
Very pleased 10/10
My mom has been in this carehome for nearly a year, she has eventually settled well. The staff are very good for her and go above and beyond to do things for her, when shes feeling down. It is a very good care home, as they listen to the family and my mom gets what she wants.
Our family member is looked after and cared for really well at Richmond Court. Her needs are met culturally here and that ensures we feel relaxed when we leave her. The staff are always kind and open, the environment is friendly. We are grateful for the management, considering the needs of our loved one as they are quite complex and emotional for the family. Thank you.
My experience so far is that I'm happy with the care my father is having. Staff are friendly and helpful and management is very good as when I need to ask for anything regarding appointments etc. It is dealt with promptly. Management lets me know what is happening or any updates. Overall we are happy with the care given.
My mom has been in Richmond Court Nursing Home for just over a year. She has settled very well, I have no concerns for her. The staff are very good and helpful. I am very happy with the service.
My brother was transferred directly from the hospital to Richmond Court Nursing Home. He was only there for a short time (a matter of weeks) until he passed. The staff showed great compassion and looked after him diligently as his health deteriorated. The care he received from all the staff was outstanding. They treated him with great dignity through his final weeks. They kept the family as a whole informed and were always available for us when we needed information regarding his condition.
My father is happy and well cared for at Richmond Court Nursing Home. We have regular family meetings, where we can ask questions or raise concerns, and staff tell us about things that are happening at the nursing home. It is also good to meet and make friends with other families. We are invited to all social events to be with our loved ones. Which we thoroughly enjoy
All staff are pleasant, very helpful and make residents plus visitors welcome. The building is slowly improving. It's just unfortunate everything my parent had to work all their life for has had to be sold for their 24 hour care and support.
My Father was initially extremely difficult upon arriving here from another residential home. Relevant medical/mental health teams were contacted and support was put in place. Dad is now settled and I am more at ease. The staff are polite, happy, caring and kind, understanding my father's needs. The manager is always available and attends to any issues and knows her residents.
On behalf of my family, I would like to give a tremendous gratitude-filled thank you to all the staff at Richmond Court Nursing Home, for the dedicated loving care they provided to my mother. My mother moved to RCNH in 2021, she had full mental ability but due to a deteriorating osteoarthritis, she lost mobility and was bed-bound. The home ensured she had regular seated sessions during the day, which was good for her posture and made meal times much easier. They maintained her hygiene and was always well dressed, often they would make her wear nice clothing and even paint her nails and provide subtle make-up to cheer her up. My mother always referred to the staff as her new family and always expressed to all family members not to worry about her, as she was happy and content here. We did not live too far from the home and would visit on a regular basis, but the home still called us, if they had any concerns, just to give us peace of mind. Thank you for her precious final care.
Richmond Court Nursing Home exceeded all expectations. My dad arrived, and I was very anxious. My dad received amazing care and was well looked after. They were on top of his physical health and got him to the hospital promptly. Two members of staff were amazing and friendly; they were all professional and patient with my dad. The manager was very helpful and supportive. Happy with everything. Thank you, everybody.
