View Full Details of Parc-y-Llyn Nursing HomeI've just visited my sister a couple of times at Parc y Llyn I was genuinely thrilled with the way that they care for her. Granted the building and decor isn't the best. However the staff that I've met have been amazing, supportive, informative and eager to please. Emma, the deputy manager, who was eager to help, ensuring that my sister is happy and comfortable in her environment, quite excellent. Her care leaders, Mishi and Karl, both excellent, Karl who I spent quite a while chatting to, learning more of his wonderful qualities. Zaldi another carer, who had a wonderful, holistic attitude to caring. I also briefly met Sister Gifty, again I found her approachable and friendly. My sister is happy, safe, cared for holistically in a warm, friendly way. One extremely important point to make is that I unexpectedly walked into the kitchen, it was spotlessly clean and orderly. Thank you for the fabulous cake and coffee, Excellent.
Having had my dear husband in the care of staff at Parc-y-Llin for a sadly short time before he died, I can attest to the excellent and gentle standards of care and attention that he received. One can see the positive interactions between residents, whatever their state of physical or mental health, and carers whenever visits are made. That these can be unannounced is an added confirmation that openness and transparency are in place. I am therefore surprised and not a little shocked to find that this is the first review that this establishment has received. Where are those of the relations of other residents who will I'm sure, have good reason to be similarly impressed with the care that their loved ones are receiving? Hopefully, this review will serve to encourage more to be added.
