My mum was transfered to Greenleigh care home from hospital, following a fall resulting in a broken ankle. My first impressions were good, the environment was clean, well maintained, the staff were friendly and more to the point, the residents appeared to be happy and settled. Mum was made welcome
right from the start, the staff did everything to support her needs whilst maintaining her independence as much as possible.
She was with them for a number of weeks and over that time built a good relationship with the staff and residents. Dad was able to spend as much time with her as he wanted, he was made to feel welcome and stayed most days to eat lunch with her.
The management structure played a big part of the experience, they were approachable and understanding whilst being professional and hands on. Nothing was too much trouble and I would like to say thank you for making mum's stay such a pleasant one and for making us all feel so welcome.

He had previously lived at home with his wife who was his full time carer along side family & community care team.
Sadly our mom passed away suddenly after a short battle with lung cancer.
Dad then had a fall & was in hospital then got
moved to step down in Wolverhampton.
We wanted dad nearer to us but as we all work couldn't look after dad as he needed 24hr care.

My Nan has been in Greenleigh since march 2024 just after my grandad passed away. The staff there are so caring and will always listen to Nan when she is telling them stories or looking back on memories. They communicate any concerns they have with myself or other family members and keep us updated
with how Nan is doing. They are always welcoming and answer any questions we have.

My mother in law, who is now 95 years old, moved into Greenleigh in January 2026 for a period of respite care following a hospital stay. She settled in immediately as all the staff are so caring and helpful and has now decided she would like to stay there on a permanent basis. She has made friends
and particularly enjoys the lovely meals. All the family are made very welcome when we visit and we are all pleased that she is being so well looked after.

Mum was placed in Greenleigh straight from hospital after she had another fall. We realised as a family she was no longer able to live at home with dad and interim carers and needed 24 hour care. This was a really hard decision for all of us especially Mum. The staff at Greenleigh were really
welcoming from the start. They welcomed us to have lunch with mum when we visited but also made dad feel relaxed when he visited. She was only at the home for just over a month and we have now moved her to one closer to dad and other family members. Our thanks to the team and the care they provided. The staff were always warm and cheerful and are passionate about the care they provide. Thank you.

My mum came to live at Greenleigh Care Home in April 2022. I was apprehensive about mum going into full time care but from the minute that we came into the home we were welcomed warmly, the staff came to introduce themselves to mum and they made such a fuss of her. The atmosphere is so warm and
friendly and the staff treat the residents with respect and with affection. My mum was not having a good time with her dementia and was very confused and had challenging behaviours but with the attention from the staff and other residents and with the various activities she soon got into a better routine and started to settle down. She was a poor eater which used to upset the family but now she is eating very well and looks forward to meal times. With her dementia, she doesn’t sleep well but the staff are fantastic with her. She may be up and about for hours during the night but the night staff sit and talk to her, make her a cup of tea until she is ready to settle down again. Thank you Greenleigh Care Home.

Took my father in for a week's respite. When I collected him he looked terrible, had not had a shave. His hair had not been combed and he had lost a lot of weight. My sister and niece visited him during the week and he had soiled himself and smelled awful and she had to ask them to change him. When
I got him home half his clothes were missing and they had put an old jumper in (not his) full of holes. Disgusting. He will never go in Greenleighs again.
