What an amazing team of carers & nurses that took care of my Dad. He had suffered a stroke and they were patient, caring, warm and friendly, very supportive towards family members and others. My stepdad took part in various activities to help stimulate him. In hospital he was just left in bed most
of the day. Moving him to Cherry Tree was the best decision I made for him. he thrived and was so much better in himself. They made the time to get to know him & understand him & his needs as he couldn't communicate.

Our mother spent 12 days at Cherry Tree Nursing Home before she died. The care she received was outstanding. The staff treated her with dignity and respect and were so kind to us as relatives in a very sad situation. I was worried about her going into a nursing home but the manager took the time to
allow me to express how I felt and was reassuring and kind. The staff went out of their way to make sure our mum was cared for properly and nothing was too much trouble.
We couldn't have wished for a better place for her.

Our Mum has been a resident at Cherry Tree for nearly a year. She was very poorly this time last year although she had carers coming to her house it was the time she needed full time care. She has dementia which has been a very slowly progressing illness for over ten years. She now looks better, she
is so well cared for and fed, lovely food. Everyone who works at Cherry Tree are so kind and smiley. Mum is treated with dignity and gentleness.

Excellent care given to my mother in her 15 months at Cherry Tree. All the staff were dedicated to giving her the best care and keeping her cheerful with the daily activities,s he experienced new things with creating some art, watching some wonderful dancing and she loved seeing any animals who
visited. I cannot fault the team, they were so caring and so very welcoming to me and my family & friends.

Cherry Trees have been brilliant with Mum - thank you! From my first phone call, and home visit, everything was dealt with compassionately and professionally. I am always impressed with the calm atmosphere when I visit. This was perfect for Mum when her memory issues cause her frustration and
anxiety. She is used to a community, both at home and as a teacher, and, when she was able to partake in activities and she really thrived in the Cherry Tree environment. As her daughter, I know how verbally harsh her disappointment can be (!) and from my visits I can see that all the lovely staff have seen beyond this to the sweet lady underneath and really worked hard to settle and reassure her. She and dad were beyond cute at their reunion at home, although she was soon telling us what the clouds were doing and wanting to 'head home' again. She once played Dorothy in her school musical and I guess only Mum knows where her 'no place like home' truly is.

Yesterday I lost my beloved husband of 58 years. He had suffered bladder, kidney and brain cancer,. We both felt so lucky that the NHS found a room in Cherry Tree where my husband could spend his last few weeks. It is such a wonderful home where the kind and caring staff could not do enough to make
him comfortable and pain free. They are a close knit team and I take great solace that he felt their love to the end. They showed great love to me and our daughter during our precious last hours with him. Thank you.

My brother was admitted to Cherry Tree N.H. for pallative care. He received brilliant care from the 'blue army' of carers, or angels as I like to call them.
As relatives we also felt cared for and included. A real place of comfort when it was most needed. Thank you.

Our Dad moved into Cherry Tree under palliative care after spending six weeks in hospital. We could tell from the first time we saw it that this was a perfect place for Dad to spend his final days. Dad was only there for a few days, but from the moment he arrived, he was treated with love and
dignity. All of the staff, from the manager, through the nurses, carers, caretaker, and other support staff, were cheerful, friendly, helpful, and caring, towards Dad's family as well as to Dad himself. Nothing was too much trouble and they also helped us through the difficult time immediately after Dad passed away. We took comfort in the fact that Dad spent his final days in beautiful surroundings being cared for by such a lovely group of people. Thank you.
