Although the home is scruffy and limited, it is friendly and homely. For my brother, it has provided him, with his schizophrenia, with a home where he feels safe and wanted. The manager has proved especially capable of handling my brother's behaviour. Other staff are also caring and the current cook
has 'mothered' him in a way which has markedly improved his behaviour and appearance. His experience in previous homes has never helped him so much. He is happier and better behaved now than he has been for tens of years. Although the facilities may seem few, it has not proved a disadvantage for him.

A great improvement from my last review, the food is a lot better more of a choice, the staff take turns in doing the cooking, the garden is much cleaner, there are more
activities, more rooms to relax in.
