View Full Details of Three Bridges Nursing HomeMy mum has lived at Three Bridges for nearly 18 months. As I live a 2-hour drive away and can't visit every week, it's particularly important for me to feel confident that mum is well-cared for and treated with respect. Her personal care needs seem always to be delivered with sensitivity. The staff are kind and thoughtful and appear genuinely to enjoy interacting with the residents. Mum's room and the communal areas, including the dining room, are clean, bright, and nicely decorated, and she is happy living here.
My mother has been a resident at Three Bridges for over a year and I am very happy with the way she is cared for. All the staff are lovely; very kind and caring. The manager and one staff member in particular manage everything extremely well. Any questions or concerns are dealt with quickly and efficiently. My recent request for the activities chart to be put online so I could plan my visits around it was actioned speedily. The home itself is beautifully kept. All the main rooms and bedrooms are nicely decorated and are kept very clean. As I live a few hours away, it is very comforting to know mum is being well looked after.
My parents moved to Three Bridges Care Home early last year. Sadly, my father passed away in April 2024. His time there was excellent. The staff showed real care and compassion and eased a difficult time. My mother is a dementia resident and is very comfortable. Three Bridges is a relatively small care that has a caring homely feel and I would highly recommend it.
From the outside, The Three Bridges looks welcoming and homely. Staff have their pictures on the wall and are recognised and rewarded for hard work to promote a positive culture which will also have a positive impact on residents. All of the staff are excellent, they go out of their way to help and genuinely care. There's always activities on and it's like a home from home. I can now sleep at night knowing that my father in law is being well looked after. I have had many relatives in numerous homes over the years and I can honestly say that this one is by far the best on every level. The care he receives means the world to us.
Three Bridges is a very friendly and caring nursing home. All the staff strive to be both professional and kind. They are an amazing team of people who make the residents as comfortable as possible. Food and drinks and snacks are plentiful and of good quality. The rooms are clean and bright and warm and look out on to very pleasant gardens. There's a happy atmosphere that strikes you as soon as you step through the front door. I am so pleased my relative now lives at 3Bridges where he is well cared for. Thank you everyone.
Our very dear friend was a resident for approximately 12 months until 1.10.24 when he sadly passed away. I have visited many care homes but this is the friendliest and warmest care home. This is down to the wonderful staff - whatever their role. We were made so welcome on every visit and our friend was very much loved and so well cared for. We will always be grateful. Our friend had a very happy last year of life. Thank you.
Just need to give praise to the young carers who looked after my sister on Sunday afternoon 10th November. She was quite distressed and they dealt with the situation showing care and consideration. Many thanks.
We were anxious about finding somewhere for our mum to be looked after but Three Bridges has excelled in our expectations. The care has been outstanding. She is extremely settled and we can't thank the staff enough. She spends a lot of time in activities where she is getting fantastic mental stimulation. It means everything to us, thank you.
Excellent care from Three Bridges for my mother-in-law. She especially loves the activity room. She always seems very happy and well cared for.
Caring staff were extremely professional and caring. The nurses were very accessible and knowledgeable. The family (and friends) were looked after so well during the final (4 days and nights) vigil that we undertook. The home had a lovely, warm, friendly and homely feeling.
Thank you to all of the staff at Three Bridges for treating my mum with such kindness, dignity and respect at the end of her life. Everyone from the managers to the nurses, carers and kitchen staff were so kind to us when my mum was dying and looked after us as well as my mum in her final days. One night I heard a lady being put to bed and she shouted 'Goodnight, I love you' to the nurse, which was probably what she'd said every night at home. Then I heard the nurse reply 'Night, love you too, go to sleep now' which I thought was the nicest moment because it was what the lady needed to hear to help her settle down. This really sums up Three Bridges for me.
Residents treated with kindness and care.
My Step father came into the home suffering from a horrible disease MND and frontal temporal lobe dementia. The home made it very comfortable for him and kept him pain free. My mum was there all the time and the home were very accommodating. He was only in the home a short time then passed away. They could t of done more for any of us. Giving my mum guidance afterwards which was nice. The carers and nurses were fantastic. Thank you to you all

My aunt when she arrived at the home was in a lot of pain. The nurses and Dr sorted this out. We were very grateful to everyone that supported her until she passed away. Thank you to everybody who looked after her.
The most caring, loving and hardworking staff. There is no care home like it. All staff go above and beyond for their residents and family members and we can’t appreciate it enough. They looked after my grandad with care and compassion. Thank you to management and all of your fabulous staff.
Everyone I have dealt with concerning my aunt's care has been kind, helpful and supportive. The back office team are also professional and caring and deal with queries quickly and correctly. Overall I am happy my aunt is getting a high level of care.
Mum has been in Three Bridges for nearly a year. The care she has received is outstanding. All the staff from the manager through to the cleaning staff know residents and relatives by name. Mum is treated with respect and love. Mum loves a bit of banter and the staff join in with smiles and laughter. The building itself is spotless. None of those off-putting odours. The food is plentiful. Snacks and drinks are available throughout the day. There are daily activities or she can watch tv, read or sit outside when the weather is good. Mum looks healthier than she has for years. Three bridges is a happy place.
My family and I have found the care home to be a very homely and friendly environment in which our mother is currently residing. The staff offer a very caring approach and go beyond 'the job' to be as accommodating as possible to make life for the residents comfortable and enjoyable. The staff give a sense of calm even in the most difficult of circumstances and always offer a smile. Nothing is too much trouble and requests are met in a timely way. Relatives are kept informed of any changes which occur in the health and well-being of residents.
At a very difficult time for both of us, your wonderful staff have treated us with kindness and dignity at all times. Nothing is too much trouble and they keep me up to date with my husband's improvements. I can't praise them enough. It is a very welcoming home and a credit to everyone.
