View Full Details of Rose Court Care HomeI have visited my sister in law at Rose Court 5 times since her so far short stay with them and am so relieved to see how well she is being cared for. She is always smiling and seems contented. The staff are very attentive and caring. I am myself disabled and live in Blackpool and would love to visit more often but I feel relieved to see how well she is looked after. It pleases me immensely to see my sister on your social media page. Thank you so much to all who care for my sister in law
The home always treat myself and husband with the upmost respect. Can't thank them enough.
My mam has been a resident at Rose Court for 2 years now. When she arrived she was very distressed and anxious. Her speech wasn't good as struggled to communicate with people and express herself. Gradually the staff won her round and with their attention and smiles they gave her. Its not always a pleasant time visiting my mam, but to see her smile and interact with the members of staff, always makes my visit a lot easier.
My mother-in-law has been living at Rose Court for some time now, and we couldn't be happier with the care she receives. It's clear that the staff genuinely care about the residents - their kindness and compassion really shine through in everything they do. There's always something going on, with regular events and outings that keep the residents active, engaged, and smiling. We visit every week, either taking her out or bringing food to share together in the lovely downstairs area. It's always beautifully decorated with thoughtful ornaments, pictures, and uplifting quotes, which gives the whole place a warm, homely feel. If you're looking for a care home for a loved one, I would wholeheartedly recommend Rose Court. The level of care, attention, and warmth is truly exceptional - we feel very lucky to have found it.
My husband has been in Rose Court since beginning of April, and appears to be settling now after a disturbed start. The staff are very kind and considerate to him and to us, his relatives.
Whenever I have visited my father the carers are always friendly and keep us informed of my dad's welfare. They all know his name and always seem to make him feel involved and make sure when events are being organised his gluten free diet is always catered for !
I attended both of DCAFF meeting and Makaton activity organised by a particular staff member. The DCAFF meeting was really well led by this staff member, giving everyone an opportunity to contribute and being sensitive to relatives & friends, as sharing at times was emotional. It also gave an opportunity for relatives to meet one another and understand the different needs of residents. The Makaton was well attended and the staff member has put a great deal of thought into offering light-up items to help residents participate. Very different but a good activity to introduce to residents.
Mum has been looked after very well since she entered Rose Court Care Home. It has brought some peace of mind to myself and our family knowing that she is safe, well fed and entertained. Her medical requirements have been well monitored and there has been good communication between the staff and mum's family.
The experience we have had had with Rose court has been very good. A warm friendly home that made us all feel very welcome. They treated mum as an individual. They took time to get to know her and treated her with respect and dignity and alot of care.Always very kind and patient. They have lots of activities planned and encourage mum . Although she can be reticent at times. They also took time to reassure us as a family as it was a very difficult time for us emotionally. The food is well cooked and varied and caters for alot of tastes. We feel the staff really care for the residents and work really hard on their well being .
My husband has advanced dementia and has been a resident at Rose Court for just over 3 months now We were both made to feel very welcome from the start. The kindness and caring quality was apparent from the first day. All the staff are very helpful and friendly, and we are treated with mutual respect and dignity. His room is very nice and we can decorate it to make it feel more homely for him. He took quite a while to settle in, but thanks to the patience and kindness of the staff, he is now settled in and is very happy. I am also very happy, knowing he is being well cared for.
We could not praise Rose Court Care Home more highly, my Father was a resident there for a short while before he passed away, the care he received was amazing and the support we were given was outstanding. The home is lovely and the staff were something else, they all took the time to get to know my dad and us and we will be forever grateful to them.
All the staff are excellent and make my Mother-in-law feel very happy and safe. Nothing is too much trouble for all of the staff. Amenities are excellent and all of the activities in the care home and outside are brilliant. Can't thank the staff enough.
My Mum moved to Rose Court in July 2024. This is our first experience of a care home and what a fabulous place Rose Court is. All the staff from carers to cleaners are the most kindest beautiful people. The entertainment team works incredibly hard and it pays off in everything they do. The facilities are excellent and a nice variety of rooms for visiting families to use.
The staff have been very caring and understanding towards Mum. They give the impression that they know my mother very well in the little things they do for her and I am very happy that she is included in several activities.
My mum was accepted as a resident when she was in a very poor state of mental health due to acute Alzheimer's. I have no doubt that her behaviour was extremely challenging when she first went to live there, and my family were very grateful that she was accepted onto the Harmony Unit initially and she was given such amazing care that she actually got through the worst of her behavioural issues and became so much calmer and happier that she was able to be moved onto Nightingale Unit. She has lived there and been given the most amazing care and support for the last 4 years now. We, as a family, have also been supported and kept very well informed of Mum's health and day-to-day life. It's most important for my siblings and myself to have a great relationship with the staff as most of us live in other countries. The staff have gone above and beyond their normal daily duties to ensure for us that Mum has everything she needs as well as a few treats. Thank you all so very much for being there.
My mum has been a resident at Rose Court for 10 months, the home was chosen by the local authorities and we couldn't have picked a better place for her to live if we'd tried ourselves. The 9.9 out of 10 rating does Rose Court an injustice because our experience says it's 10 out of 10 all day long. The staff are professional and caring and include the family in everything and are always willing to do that little extra that can make a huge difference. There are regular activities, matched to each resident's situation, which helps keep them active and stimulated and the obvious benefits can't be measured. The home itself is always clean and tidy and there is always a friendly welcome.
No one wants a loved one to need residential care but when that becomes necessary then you want them to be placed in a home where they will receive love and support and a personalised approach to their care - this is what I have witnessed at Rose Court.
My Mum has been in Rose Court since January 2024. Suffering from dementia we had struggled to get her settled in a home due to her unpredictability and anger and this was our third attempt. The staff at Rose Court have been fantastic with her. They've certainly had their work cut out settling her in but have done a wonderful job keeping her entertained and busy with art, crafts, baking, and flower arranging. It's been a big relief to the family that she is well looked after and safe. It's great to visit with different rooms you can use or the cafe for a brew.
I have visited my Father on a few occasions as I live overseas and in all that time I have witnessed consistent love and attention in the care given by all the staff. I am very impressed with the inclusion of my Mother in Rose Court and personal events. The staff goes out of their way to keep the residents engaged and involved. The staff made every special effort on a number of events for Birthdays and anniversaries and it is a pleasure to see how much they genuinely care.
On the first visit, the staff were very helpful and answered all our questions fully. The building was secure and homely which appealed to us and did not feel like a nursing home. Lots of entertainment and things to do.
