Our mum was in Garland House for nearly 4 years until she sadly passed away in October. We thought Mum wouldn’t last long when she went into Garland as she was so frail, but due to the wonderful care given to her by all the staff who kept her going with chats, motivation and encouragement to join in
all the afternoon activities and lovely fresh food cooked on the premises, she went on for another 4 years.
The manager and all of her wonderful team became like an extended family to us and we cannot thank them enough for the devotion shown to Mum, particularly in her final week.

Long-standing local staff make this care home a 'home from home'. Small and cosy, close to local shops and bus stops for the more mobile of residents to be able to get out for a stroll.
The team have really pulled out all the stops this past year contending with this awful pandemic - all residents
remain safe and well and have now all received their first vaccination. A testament to the dedication of all the staff team under the guidance of the manager.
We couldn't wish for a more supportive and caring establishment - it's Southborough's little gem!
