View Full Details of St Winifreds Care CentreMy father has been at St Winifreds for over 2 years now. Our family visit regularly and we are always greeted by happy, polite and professional staff. The care centre recently arranged a Hawaiian afternoon, which was amazing. Residents and their family members were made to welcome with amazing, food, drink and music. Thank you all.
I had a lovely time at the BBQ. Was so nice to be out of my room and be with people. Everyone did such a great job, the food was lovely, people looked great in there gear. The garden was well decorated. I'm so glad I could be a part of it. When is the next party?? Thank you all, great job.
Trying to arrange care for my sister from 500 miles away was not easy. St W's and the management team made it an experience that was reassuring and effective. Since initial respite care my sister has settled in to full residency with success, she feel safe, secure and care for my daily phone calls to my sister reveal a staff and care team that are genuine and personable- my sister's opinion and delight.
We attended the Hawaiian BBQ at the home, what an absolutely great time we all had. The food was great, the staff were very happy also my mum had a great time. So nice to be outside with our mum. The garden was well decorated everything was just fab. Well done everyone you all work so hard and we appreciate all you do. Thank you all.
Such an excellent care given team, so pleased with my mother in law's care and the whole team are friendly and welcoming. Always trying to make sure that my mother in law is comfortable at all times. We can't thank you enough. Due to our recommendation a close friend has also placed their mother in st Winifred's and they are also so pleased with the care given.
My Mum has been at St Winifred's since January. She has dementia and is bed-bound, but since day one, the staff have done everything they can to make life for her as good as it can be. They are always very cheery, caring and helpful and open to suggestions from us. There are so many activities on offer for the residents, and despite my Mum's difficulties, they try to include her in as much as possible. I am so grateful for her care at St Winifred's and would recommend it to anyone.
We live in California and this was the first time we saw my grandma at St Winifreds. It seems that she is exceptionally well taken care of. Wehn we visit she is out of her room, sitting in the sun. She is regularly offered snacks and refreshments. The staff go above and beyond to ensure she is comfortable and happy. Furthermore, they have made our visits with her so happy and welcomed us into the home too. We really appreciate it!
The summer BBQ in June was a wonderful afternoon, unfortunately dad couldn't attend as he is bed bound but he still enjoyed the wonderful food on offer. Mum and I had a lovely time in the sunny garden, the chefs and staff done an amazing job with the food on offer, there was even an icecream van for a lovely 99, everyone was well fed and watered with a glass or two of lovely Pimm's there was also live music for a singalong. A big Thankyou to all staff who worked so hard to give the residents a beautiful afternoon .
Another lovely meeting with my aunt at St Winifreds. I always find her happy and well cared for. I booked to have lunch with her in their dining room. The food is plentiful, tasty and well presented. On Friday a BBQ was organised, with all residents taken out to the beautifully decorated garden. Plenty of shade and refreshing summer drink on offer! Well done everybody.
St Winifreds had a barbecue for residents and guests. The afternon was fantastic, the care given to making it an enjoyable time for everyone was second to none. Well done St Winifreds and thank you.
Really pleased with St Winifreds Care Centre. My mother has changed for the better. It has been an emotional curve for myself as well as mother on this journey. All carers, managers and staff are amazing and approachable. Thank you.
My husband has been in home for 6 months, and all staff are kind, caring, professional, and dedicated to their work and residents. In such difficult circumstances, I'm very grateful for their care.
I am SO pleased that my brother has a room at St WInifreds. His situation at home was becoming untenable and St Winifreds has provided the care he needs. He is now eating and sleeping well, has his nursing needs cared for, and I feel that he has his sense of humour back.
We were struggling as a family to provide sufficient care and support as Mum's mental capacity deteriorated. Her admission to St Winifreds has taken away a lot of stress for all concerned. After 4 weeks Mum is still finding it difficult to adapt to her new living arrangements but we continue to hope that she will settle down soon!
Following a very difficult and stressful period of time, we were fortunate to find a room available in St Winifreds. All the staff have been so kind and caring which has played a major role in helping me to quickly settle in and get used to the routines and all that is available to me. I can't emphasize enough how much myself and my family needed this. My room is like a bedroom at home and is such a massive improvement to a room in a hospital. I do not mean to criticise the hospitals, as they have a different role to play.
St Winifred's Care Centre staff have been unbelievable in the care and attention they provided for my late husband. Looking after visiting relatives as well as my husband. The attention shown to me when my husband passed away was incredible. So a very big thank you to all the staff members.
I thought St Winifreds was the best home I had seen (being an ex-carer) they bent over backward. The care they go to to look after my husband was brilliant. I could not ask for better service. Just excellent for everything.
The management and staff are excellent compared to the last home. St Winifreds is so much better. Wished I had moved my Sister earlier.
My mum was a resident of St Winifreds Care Centre for a couple of months. She arrived not very enthusiastic but soon settled in and enjoyed the social element of this lovely home. Her care was outstanding. She enjoyed a very varied menu with the food fresh on site. Sadly Mum passed and she was treated with care and dignity. I can't thank St Winifred's carers and staff enough.
On a visit to see family members today, the whole experience was wonderful. I left my mother sitting in the car nearby while I went to see if I could park there. I met a young carer outside who couldn't have been more helpful and took me to the office where the charming lady in admin sorted me out. We had a lovely time with our family, who were obviously happy and well cared for in a very nice double room. We had a great time catching up and hope to go back in a couple of weeks.
