The experience we had at priory mews was actually beyond awful and I truly hope that people look into this care home before letting their loved ones be put into their care. If I could rate it zero stars I really would.
My grandmother was left in the most awful of states more times than we could
possibly count. Not washed properly, teeth not brushed, hair not brushed or washed, wearing other people's clothes or no clothes!!! Left to sit in her own urine for hours!! The care home absolutely stinks of urine and faeces as soon as you walk in which is disgusting and so embarrassing when you have family and friends visiting. Her illnesses weren't taken seriously or even noticed by the staff. And she couldn't call for staff as her call button was always hooked up away from her.
However I will say the staff working in this part of the home were lovely people but they are overworked for the amount of people they have to look after and there is a huge lack of basic care for residents.

My mum, Maria, was shown, respect and a huge amount of care and compassion by all the staff in Cressenor House. They made a very upsetting and emotional time, so much more bearable for myself and my family, we couldn't fault them, mum was treated with dignity and made comfortable at all times,
particularly in her last hours. We are truly very grateful to you all, and we will never forget how kind you were to my lovely mum and to us.

Priory Mews Care Home only had my Mother for two weeks. But my sister and I were so pleased to have her there. All she wanted was somewhere quiet and comfortable to say goodbye to her loving family and to end her days, she was after all 102. Priory Mews provided her with the peace, quiet and comfort
she was hoping for and much much more. The staff were very understanding of, not only her needs but also the needs of us, her family. They gave my Mother all the care and attention she needed, they were kind, considerate and compassionate and allowed my Mother to say goodbye to the world in the way that she wanted, which was a marked difference to the treatment she had received in hospital for the previous five weeks.
My sister and I would like to use this opportunity to give our thanks to the staff and management of Priory Mews for their compassion and professionalism in caring for my Mother in her final days.

Cannot fault the care that my cousin gets. Nursing/domestic staff very caring and pleasant to resident and family. Very efficient in keeping family informed. Environment kept clean. Grounds outlook pleasant.

My mother Jennifer has come into the home to give my Dad a respite. Care home very clean, staff were absolutely lovely and cared for my mother very well. Would highly recommend this care home.

All the staff at Priory Mews care home, are very friendly. They look after my mum really well, and as far as I can see, mum looks healthy and happy.
I must also mention all the staff at Priory Mews Care Home who work very hard while looking after the residents. It was my mum's 90th recently, and
all the staff came and wished my mum a happy birthday. They had provided a cake, and Mum received a nice birthday card.

This is a very happy and caring place to be. The staff are very friendly and caring and helpful. All of the meals are excellent and plentiful. Very happy that he is here.

Since my mother came to stay at Priory Mews, she has stayed in 3 different houses, each one has been lovely. The staff have been amazing, very caring and very understanding. I have been very pleased with the way they have looked after her and treated her, and even the staff who do the activities
have been lovely in helping her settle in and be part of the Priory Mews family. Thank you for all you have done.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the staff in Marchell House for the genuine care and kindness shown not only to our mum, but also to us as her family. Throughout this difficult time, every member of the team has been compassionate, patient and attentive. The way you interact
with all the residents, with dignity, respect and warmth, is truly admirable. It has been a real comfort to see how much care and affection you give to everyone, and to know that our mum has been surrounded by such dedicated people. Thank you for everything you have done, and continue to do, for her and all those in your care.

Staff very helpful & caring. There is always some activity going on. There is a good community spirit. Place is kept nice & clean, and the meals seem to be nice.
The buildings are all on one level, which makes things easier for wheelchair users. It means we can take mum out into the garden area
easily. Mum is happy here.

Very happy with the care my mum receives. She is well looked after, the staff know her well and treat (and great) her very kindly. Her bedroom is always clean and tidy, as are the communal areas. When in the communal areas, there is always plenty going on and plenty of staff around to help. I have
no complaints about the care or the staff and accommodation.

A pleasant place, where my dad is very well looked after. His room is also very nice and bright, and tidy. Everyone is treated as an individual, and lots of different activities take place. My dad really liked the VE Day outdoor celebration. It would be nice to see more comfortable outdoor
furniture. The cares are staff are friendly to everyone, including to visitors.

The staff were very friendly, always helped and assisted whenever they could. Very clean and always kept tidy. She was always treated with respect and felt very safe learning her in the hands of the care home.

Had a very nice dinner with my family member today at the home. staff are very welcoming and helpful especially with our many questions and concerns they always look into and come back to us with answers

We cannot thank the staff enough for the wonderful support and care they provide for our mum and to us as well.
The house Manager always makes time to speak to us and keeps us updated with all the activities and our mums health issues.
Mums room is in Berkley but they have opened the unit to
provide more space with Mountenay House,
At first we were apprehensive probably because we don't like change but it certainly has been for the best.
No it's not a lovely brand new modern Carehome, but they certainly are making the most of what they've got.
Once again thank you everyone you are all amazing

I'm happy to say that I gave feedback to my mum's care and that this was taken into consideration and immediate adjustment made. I give credit to all the staff in Beaumont House. They work hard and are a genuinely caring bunch.

My friend was admitted to Cressenor following a very difficult stay in hospital with his deteriorating dementia. He arrived filthy, unkempt and had not even been dressed for days. Within hours he was clean and comfortable in a lovely room with a window he could see out of from his bed.
There was
always staff around when you needed them, they listened to my advice on my friend's likes and dislikes and genuinely seemed to care about his welfare.
There seemed to be a big push to get all patients in to meals and for them to socialise together which gave a friendly atmosphere.

Staff very helpful & caring. There is always some activity going on. There is a good community spirit. Place is kept nice & clean, and the meals seem to be nice.
