He was genuinely well looked after and given so much love by every member of the team. My family and I were always welcomed with love when we visited. One exceptional team member was Mo who always greeted us with a huge smile and the offer of a cup of tea which went down a treat!

During a very difficult time the home has been very welcoming and helpful. Care for my mother has been excellent and she has been very happy. Had the home not been so far away from where we live we would have happily let my mother stay there.

Please do not send anyone you love to this care home. A family member was discharged from hospital to Beaumont house. After around 2 weeks of him being there they doubled his dosage of a mild sedative drug which was used to regulate his emotions which then turnt him into a zombie. They would not decrease it back down, the managers are awful, an ambulance was called and the manager came and asked the paramedics to move their van in the middle of tending to my family member and they love to spin a false narrative. He had 3 falls in 1 week due to negligence when giving medications they can not administer medications safely and was giving all different doses each day. They do not know how to care for people, let alone people with dementia / cognitive impairments. I wouldn't allow my pet hamster to stay here. It is dirty, it constantly smells, it's unsafe and an inhumane place to send someone. It needs shutting down.

My first impression was a huge screen in the living room blaring out loud music which immediately felt like sensory overload. The staff seemed friendly but very little or no interaction with residents including the person in charge of activities who was busy doing other things. A resident sat with her head leaning to the side with no support, even when a drink was put in front of her she was not put in a more comfortable position. The fish tank was so green the fish were hardly visible. Residence are confined to the living area, with a tiny patio and are not taken out for walks or outings. The individual needs of residence are not taken into consideration or catered for contrary to what they claim. The breakfast menu is full of unhealthy processed food everyday and crisps as snacks.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry your impression of our home was not a positive one.
We take all comments seriously; however, we cannot identify you in our records as a resident's next of kin, family member, or friend, and as no concerns were raised during the visit, we had no opportunity to address them at the time.
Due to confidentiality, we cannot discuss any individual's care, but every resident is supported according to their own assessed needs and preferences; what may seem unusual to an observer may reflect a personal care plan. Residents are never confined to communal areas and are free to use their rooms, lounges, and garden. Our menus balance nutrition with personal choice, our fish tank is professionally cleaned weekly, and music is played only during organised activities.
We regularly receive positive feedback about our staff's kindness and professionalism and would welcome the opportunity to discuss your concerns directly.Marlon Soriano

My late stepfather came into Cressenor House for end-of-life care. He was only with you just short of a week but the team there provided him with exceptional care for the time he was there and the same level of care to myself and Roy's other family and friend that visited during his short time...

My grandmother was left in the most awful of states more times than we could possibly count. Not washed properly, teeth not brushed, hair not brushed or washed, wearing other people's clothes or no clothes!!! Left to sit in her own urine for hours!! The care home absolutely stinks of urine and faeces as soon as you walk in which is disgusting and so embarrassing when you have family and friends visiting. Her illnesses weren't taken seriously or even noticed by the staff. And she couldn't call for staff as her call button was always hooked up away from her.
However I will say the staff working in this part of the home were lovely people but they are overworked for the amount of people they have to look after and there is a huge lack of basic care for residents.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your grandmother's experience at Priory Mews did not meet your expectations and appreciate the opportunity to respond. When residents join our home, personalised care plans and risk assessments are created to reflect their individual needs, wishes, and preferences. We understand that these wishes may sometimes differ from what family members hope for, and we recognise how difficult this can be.
Moving into a care home can be a significant and sometimes unsettling transition. Some residents may initially feel disorientated or reluctant to accept care. As time goes on, our residents became more familiar with the environment and our team, gradually becoming more comfortable and engaged more with the support offered.
We take all concerns seriously and review them thoroughly whenever they are raised. Our focus remains on providing respectful, person-centred care while maintaining open communication.
