Located in historic Dartford, Priory Mews is a friendly purpose-built care home, offering residential, nursing and dementia care.

Priory Mews consists of five separate houses each offering a high standard of care.

Stylishly decorated throughout and with landscaped gardens, each home has a comfortable lounge and dining room where residents can socialise and entertain guests if they wish. All bedrooms provide single accommodation and include a 24-hour call system and some offer views of the surrounding gardens.

Good quality ingredients are used to create a wide selection of tasty meals and all tastes and diets can be catered for.

Visits from local entertainers and trips out to local community and charity events ensure that residents are never short of things to do.

Had to place our father in a safe secure environment due to wandering and dementia. Had heard good about this home so decided to arrange a tour. I'm so glad I did. Rang morning and they arranged a same day visit, impressed with what they had to offer their residents. Was told of activities daily for
residents, entertainment on offer, animals bought in for residents to enjoy, a bar, cinema type film nights, so much to offer. They responded quickly in coming out to assess dad they offered him a room and were so helpful from the enquiry to dad moving in.
I feel assured by knowing he is safe and appears happy.
Thanks hugely to all who made an emotional time easier and bearable.

Very pleased with my mother's care in Cressenor House, Priory Mews. The staff know her very well and understand her moods. The standard has improved further over the last 3-4 months. Staffing levels seem to have improved. One criticism - they have a lovely conservatory area but it cannot be used by
residents as it is too warm. Blinds are badly needed to protect them from the sun.

Mum was eighty today, we did a surprise party for her and the unit helped me by dressing the room with balloons and banners. They helped set up the common room as a function room and are always there to help residents and make time for them. The carers are very caring and pleasant. I trust them 100%
with the care of my mum and she is safe. I don't have contact with management.

I’ve arrived at the care home a few times to find my grandad and other residents of the home needing the toilet and being ignored, but just put it down the lack of staff or the business of the ones on duty, but this particular day I arrived to find my grandad waiting outside the toilet and stood with
him for 20 minutes whilst he waited, bearing in mind he’d already been there for approximately 10-20 minutes, which made it even worse was staff members of the home just casually walked past unable to ask his needs or realise that he needed to use the toilet, problems like this shouldn’t happen in a care home and basic needs should be met.

My wife was transferred from hospital to the nursing care section and so far have been pleased with all the aspects of her care. The nurses, carers and all staff are always ready to help, even though their workload sometimes prevents this. The previous section my wife attended, in my opinion, requires

My Mum has been in Priory Mews Dartford for 18 months. She is content, but the family have had several issues over the past period, her room was not being kept clutter free and her possessions were not being respected, but after my last verbal complaint, things seem to have improved. I hope that lasts.

A Doctor of Medicine and General Surgeon Marlon is a highly experienced and exceptionally qualified professional in both the medical and management realms, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology. With 15 years of management expertise in Health and Social Care, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his role.


Marlon's career has seen him serve as a Home Manager across various care homes, ranging from small to large-sized facilities. Before joining Priory Mews, he also held the position of Quality and Compliance Manager for a Care home group.


In his leisure time, Marlon indulges in a variety of interests. He enjoys immersing himself in literature, exploring new destinations through travel, and delving into the world of museums. His creative side shines through in his passion for photography, and he finds solace in listening to classical and mellow jazz music.
