View Full Details of Belleaire House Care HomeI have found the staff to be caring and compassionate They have reacted promptly and appropriately when my Dad's condition deteriorated. I am always kept informed if there have been any changes. Personally everyone has shown me kindness and understanding which helped me cope with the transition of having to admit my dad for long term care from home. I feel he is safe and well cared for.
My mum has just recently become a resident in the care home. not knowing what to expect the family have been a bit nervous about it. Anything we have asked about has been answered and the staff has helped put the whole family including my mum at ease. Thank you.
My sister has been at Bellaire since August 2020 and it has consistently been a safe, caring and comfortable home for her. She has some challenging medical issues which are fully met by very professional staff. I've found the staff to always react quickly to any concerns either in day to day living or medical problems. She is very happy and contented where she is and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a well run and happy environment.
Overall I am quite happy with the home but there is always room for improvement.I personally feel that the fees are a bit high considering they have to pay for the hairdressers and chiropodist. I also feel my family members room is very small and with them being in bed more often than not it becomes an issue when there are few visitors as in seats and no room to move around not just for the visitors but also for the resident. I have also brought up the fact that it is needing a freshen up, e.g the carpet is faded with the sun and the walls need a lick of paint toilet dosent flush properly but the manager has assured me this will be looked at.
I am very happy with the care my dad receives in Belleaire House. The staff are caring, responsive and professional. My dad's individual care needs are met. In case there are any issues staff and management teams are approachable and cooperative. Some of the rooms require basic refurbishment which I hope will be done.
Staff/management welcoming and very helpful when my father came to the care home. Myself and my brother were shown round, and we were more than happy with what we saw. My father was giving a activity sheet were he could participate if he wished. Staff explained that they make it their goal to encourage residents to interact with each other, but say obviously that if the resident does not want to do something, they can not force them. Our main request on arrival, was that our father was to walk, as when he came out of hospital, he was walking well with a zimmer frame and we did not want him to slip back to reduced mobility again. Otherwise, my father enjoys chatting with staff and his more than happy with the room he is in. Thank you.
Really pleased with the overall care of my sister, I don't worry about her, knowing she is getting well looked after. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and also very good at informing you if there is any problems or illness. Thank you all, so much appreciated.
I am extremely happy with the care my mother is receiving in Belleaire. The staff always treat her with respect and she loves them all. The varied menus are tasty and well received. The entertainment team work hard to engage the residents with arts & crafts afternoons, exercises and a variety of musical acts and dancers. During the good weather residents thoroughly enjoy sitting in the gardens watching the passing cruise ships sail down the Clyde.
I find the care home to be a very open, caring and professional environment, not just to the resident but to me personally when visiting. I cannot praise all the members of staff enough, who I find to be very compassionate, understanding and friendly at all times, which is remarkable considering the very difficult job they do. I am delighted that my mum is in Belleaire and find it very comforting to know that she is being extremely well looked after.
Proactive in meeting my father needs. Treating him with respect. Facilities and activities are good.
Excellent Belleaire House Care Team - very friendly, welcoming nurses who deliver a very high standard of care attending to my mums care needs. The team have formed a strong, caring relationship with my mum which is very reassuring. Staff always willing to listen and show true empathy towards me. Well done team Belleaire.
Welcoming staff, lovely clean home. Shown round, lots of activities. All residents appeared clean and well dressed. Large room for mum with en-suite. Staff attended to mum to all us to leave. Food lovely, extra fluids readily available, could not be faulted.
Staff are very attentive to my mum's needs. Staff aid treat mum with respect and empathy. Staff always take the time to provide updates when I'm visiting the home from Australia.
The care that my mother received when she was unwell was excellent. The only complaint that we have is that her eye drops keep going missing. She also told me that she has not had her inhaler on several occasions.
I'm very disappointed in the care my mum has received over the past few years. Lack of communication regarding incidents. Staff shortages, no manager on most shifts. I am in talks with a social worker to have transferred to another care home. I have no trust or faith in this home. Also, what is the point of asking for feedback when I can only put a month in when my concerns have been ongoing.
There are too many staff changes...insufficient upgrading to bedrooms...more activity input needed. No one has enough time to make the changes needed and I'm afraid I do not have time to keep adding to this and I think have made my views clear and concise...
Staff have a great sense of humour, and always welcome you with a smile. Staff don't just care about residents; they really care about friends and family, always checking in to see how we are doing. My one wish for the care staff is that there were a few more of them, so they're not stretched. The views from the property are stunning, and the outside space is brilliant and very well-kept. Nothing is too much bother for the staff, and they are a brilliant team.
Aunty is very happy and contended in the Belleaire nursing home. All her needs are attended to, and any hospital appointments are dealt with, with no issues. The staff are excellent, and her surroundings are very homely.
I've always found the staff to be caring and considerate. Communications are good. Any time I have had the need to call the home, I've found that the staff have been knowledgeable about my father's situation. It's good to know that he's being well cared for.
