Christine's care at Holly Tree Lodge has been wonderful. Christine has complex needs which have always been met with dignity and kindness. The staff are always welcoming and helpful they keep me informed about Christine's needs and changes in her care which is always a comfort as I live quite a
distance away. Family is always welcomed and the rooms/ area are always busy but calm. I always leave knowing that Christine is cared for. Thank you.

Holly Tree Lodge is a great friendly home,
Mum has settled in so well, all the staff from managers to domestic are fantastic with residents & us as family
All staff have a great knowledge of people with advanced dementia

My Husband has been at Hollytree lodge since the end of January 2025. I have to be honest and say I have found it difficult to adjust to not having the sole care of my husband and making decisions on his behalf to trusting others to look after him and understand him. However the staff at Hollytree
have been great. The care and support we have both had is great. He is so much more settled and safe and well looked after. Lots of social events that I can join in with him and I have always been made to feel welcome. The staff are attentive and caring and I can see that they have got to know his personality and little ways.
The manner in which they interact with the residents is excellent and caring , particularly when some residents may be distressed or confused. They have my admiration

I cant say how happy and impressed I am with Holly Tree Lodge it is a fantastic care home. My wife is a young woman with complex needs so not your average person needing care. I had major difficulties finding anywhere for her to get the significant support she truly needs. In my professional and
personal life I have been involved with a large number of care homes and can honestly say that Holly Tree Lodge is the best I've seen. Its a safe, caring and surprisingly happy place despite the obviously severe and complex needs of the residents. Every department from domestic staff to management has been fantastic, professional and caring. They treat my wife with dignity, kindness, compassion and real individualised care. I couldn't ask for a better place for her to call home. Thank you

I thank God every day that Mum landed in Holly Tree Lodge. I live away from Barnsley, so I need reassurance that Mum is well cared for. At Holly Tree Lodge, Mum is safe, warm, and well looked after by the excellent care provided by steady, qualified staff who are consistently kind, thoughtful,
considerate and professional. The management could not be any more cheerful, efficient and effective than they are every single day.

No complaints, always clean and staff attentive and always make time to speak with us. Also, take the time between visits to update us on ongoing issues and involve us in making decisions.

What an absolutely superb team. I felt completely at ease knowing my Dad was being taken care of by such a wonderful bunch of people. Holly Tree Lodge has an incredibly homely and relaxed atmosphere (which is not an easy thing to do!). Which is entirely down to the staff. Everyone from reception,
carers, cooks/kitchen, cleaners, nurses and management are all brilliant! The home is light, bright and welcoming! Can't thank you enough for your incredible care!

Mum can be difficult and the staff handle her really well. She is happy and content and looks healthy and clean. The manager and staff are great with us and the residents.

I cannot thank all of the staff at Shafton Holly Tree Lodge enough for looking after my partner. Myself and all our family felt completely confident in all the care he was given from all of the staff.

My mother was in the care home for 7 and a half years. She was well looked after and treated with compassion and dignity until she passed away. The staff are first rate.

All carers are polite and friendly and ensure residents are happy, my father-in-law seems styled and enjoys the meals supplied. There always seems to be plenty of carers available to help. The residential home always seems tidy and clean.

Holly Tree Lodge staff are always very inviting and friendly. They treat the residents with kindness and respect and family with empathy. We are always kept up to date with any changes to Mum's circumstances. The rooms are nice and are always maintained to a high standard. The menu is always good.

Holly Tree Lodge - lovely to Mum. Very caring and treats Mum's care, needs and personality with respect. The staff always keep us fully informed of any situation regarding Mum and her daily changing presentations.

From the first day, everyone has been very kind. More importantly, my wife has settled in straight away and seems very content after the upheaval of having to move.
