My partner recently had a 2 week Respite Care package while I had a hospital procedure. When I went to bring her home she was not wearing her "glasses", when I asked for them I was told "no one" had seen her wearing any at all when she came in, obviously I challenged this as being her partner and
full time carer for 7 years knows she was wearing them on admission and would never leave her in a strange place with people she didn't know which in itself can be disorientating for a person living with Dementia, made even more stressful without her glasses. Obviously what it says on the "Home Assessment Form" Wears Glasses had no influence at all as it seems in her case, no one read it. Sadly, In my opinion due diligence was very much absent at this Dementia Care Home .

From when my mother-in-law walked into the care home she was welcomed with smiles and kindness, and we her family were treated with the same respect and kindness.

The carers are so lovely and very caring of my grandad. They look after him with respect and treat him like a human. I highly recommend Darnall View.

Find an approach to the exterior of the building well-kept. Visiting for 3 years my 96year old father it is clean and comfortable. Meeting pleasant staff, seeing games being played and residents watching TV together. Confident medication and nourishment are being taken seriously. Personal rooms have
all the essentials. The caring atmosphere leaves me happy to have him here.

The level of service that my wife receives is faultless. The facilities and care that wife my receives allow me to rest easy knowing that she is in good hands. The staff are all very attentive and look after all the residents with the same level of care. I can highly recommend Good Care Home Darnall

My Mum has only been at Darnall View as a permanent resident for just over three weeks now but our experience so far has been a really good positive one. We were worried about her moving into residential care but from the moment we went to look around we knew Darnall View was the one! When my Mum
moved on the first day the welcome she received was beautiful and she seemed to just fit in, making friends straight away. Every time I visit she tells me how lovely all the staff are and in our experience they are. She is being well cared for with regular baths or showers and she tells me she likes the food. It has a nice bright, light airy feel as you walk around and her room is so nice, again nice bright and airy with an en suite, plenty of storage and a lovely outlook. We are happy we have chosen Darnall View.

I contacted the home in November 2023, looking for care for my mum. From the very beginning, the manager and staff have been amazing. Mum moved in at the end of November, she is very well cared for. All the staff are very friendly when I visit. Mum is making some lovely friends and she tells me the
food is great! This all makes life a lot less stressful for me and our family. It's a great relief to have found somewhere that feels more like 'a home' rather than a care facility.

Staff are all amazing. They are attentive, caring and genuine. The owner, the manager, the care staff and kitchen staff are all outstanding.
Everyone works hard to make sure my Mum and every resident are well looked after. Kitchen staff make delicious home-cooked food and will happily accommodate
any needs of residents.
Daily activities and events keep residents happy and entertained.
The home feels safe and welcoming.
After a huge amount of research and visits, we found just the right place for our Mum. And couldn't be more pleased.

It's a home. We are well looked after. We are fed, we have a room to sleep which is hard to do. The staff are really nice, it is nice to have help and have the staff around me.

Fabulous care of my mum, who at times can be indifferent. The staff are really friendly and keep me informed regarding her moods and behaviour. I’m so happy she’s in a place being so well cared for and engaged with.

The staff are outstanding. They are completely committed to the wellbeing of everyone in their care. They ensure that each individual’s needs are met and do so with a sense of pride and dignity. Nothing is too much. They keep all family members informed of anything that happens concerning their
loved ones whilst always providing reassuring answers. In essence, a small but effective team who go out of their way to providing an invaluable service.

I have found somewhere where I fit in and I am safe. Staff have created a safe haven. The food is outstanding and the cooks are always willing to cook anything I ask for.

My dad is a resident at this care home I can see he's really happy living here, he always looks well looked after. The staff are amazing very polite and very helpful, when I go visit him the care home is always very clean and tidy. They do an amazing job at looking after him I'm very grateful and

I'm a resident in the care home I really enjoy living here the staff are amazing and my room is very nice and comfortable. I like the area in which the care home is situated I like to meet the others who live here and have a chat. The food is excellent.

This is an amazing care company my father-in-law is there and he's having an amazing time, all the staff are very polite and caring. The care home is a beautiful place and very homely, the care towards the clients is amazing and the happiness and love you get when walking into the care home is sure
a great welcome from staff and clients. Very happy with how my father-in-law is being treated and taken care of, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who asks where the best place would be and this would be my choice, thank you all.

Darnall View is a warm and welcoming care home that has flexible visiting hours and caters to its residents needs fully. The staff are helpful, polite, nice and good for a laugh. Our father enjoys the activities, food and we like how accommodating they are. The facilities are clean and tidy, the
building is secure and safe. Overall Darnall View is a wonderful place and we are happy to have our father be cared for there.

Mum's been in Darnall View since October and seemed much happier than when she was on her own in her own house. Unfortunately, her health is declining and may have to move to a nursing home. Hopefully, she will be treated there as well as at Darnall view.
