We are very pleased with the care our mum receives at Maryfield West. The staff are kind, attentive and genuinely caring, and they always take the time to make sure she is comfortable and well looked after.
The home is very well run, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The food is good and
varied, and mum really enjoys her meals. There are also excellent activities organised regularly, which keep residents engaged and give them plenty to look forward to. It gives us real peace of mind knowing she is in such a supportive environment, and we are very grateful to all the staff for the care and compassion they show every day.

Maryfield Care Home, Aberdeen has looked after my parents over a span of 9 years and they both received the utmost care and were shown respect , empathy and dignity . The staff are very caring and supportive not only to the residents but to the relatives too which in my experience has been
invaluable. I would highly recommend Maryfield Care Home for your loved ones as the family atmosphere, low turnover of staff and the activities/ outings organised are excellent for the health and wellbeing of the residents .

My mum has been here for over a year and has truly settled in.The staff are always professional and friendly and always welcoming when I visit.There is a great range of activities such as arts and crafts and also music and performers which keeps mum entertained there is also
days out for the
residents which she thoroughly enjoys.
A real homely environment which I would recommend

My mother had been a resident in Maryfield for over 3 years & in that time she has received the best care for her needs. She is mostly bed bound now and requires everything done for her. The staff are respectful and attend to her at least every 2 hours.

Dad is very well looked after and treated with dignity. Staff are always welcoming and friendly when we visit. Any health issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently. We feel reassured he is receiving the best care. Would highly recommend this Nursing Home.

My lovely MIL has been a resident at Maryfield West for a couple of months now and we have been so impressed with the way that all the staff look after her, from the food, the room, the overall facilities and, most of all, the quality care and attention from the staff. They treat my MIL - and us -
with such compassion and respect. Having a family member in a care home, who is in "end of life" care, is a stressful time, but the team at Maryfield West have made it a smooth, careful and comfortable experience. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Big thanks to Diana and all the team.

My dad was initially anxious about moving into Maryfield West for two weeks of respite care (for the first time) but he thoroughly enjoyed his stay there and the staff were fabulous. The care home was very welcoming, the food excellent and the care provided for was first class - again thanks to all
the staff. We regularly visited him and were always warmly welcomed (including our border terrier Toby - he loved seeing his human grandad.). Thanks for caring for my father and making his respite stay special.

Before my sister moved into Mayfield West my niece and I looked at several homes. We both felt this was the home we felt best about. The residents are very well cared for, food is excellent and staff always friendly and smiling. My sister is very happy there and has no complaints.

I really could not be happier with the care my relatives receive at Maryfield West. They are cared for, respected, involved and are safe. The staff are all lovely, helpful and engaging. The facilities are great, the rooms are very lovely and they are all clean and well looked after. There is a great
range of activities for residents, and opportunities for friends/relatives to be involved also, which is fabulous. The care home is also well managed and relatives are kept well informed. Overall I am very happy with my and my relative's experience with Maryfield West.

We came to visit our dear friend who had moved into Maryfield West a week ago. She was in very good spirits, and although she can no longer live alone, she seemed very settled. The staff were attentive, finding a quiet place for us to chat and providing hot drinks. We spoke with the activities
coordinator, who told us our friend had immediately taken part in a keep fit session as if she had been there for weeks. We spoke with her for quite a long time as she was keen to find out more about our friend and her interests.

I am happy with the way the care home is run. My partner is in good hands and being well looked after. Just could you tell the nurses that wash and dress that they use too much shower, at home the big bottle would have lasted at least 2 months, here it only lasted 3 weeks. Also I had to replace a
new hairbrush and sometimes he is a bit smelly from the bottom. But these are only minor things so don't worry about it.

I am grateful for the care that this home provided for my mother in her last days. She was treated with respect and close attention. The staf were patient and kind and very solicitous of my motber's needs. They were supportive of my and my my neice's needs as her only family visitors in a trying
time. We did visit a number of other homes, and this was the facility that impressed us with their facilities and levelmof care. Mum settled in well and was kept comfotable and supported in her final hours.

The team at Maryfield were very professional and friendly they made us feel very welcome. They were very helpful and no problem was too big for them. They felt like an extension of the family and advised us on all aspects of living there.

Mum was at Maryfield West from November 2023 until she passed away very recently. The care that Mum received during the 13 months she was living there was absolutely fantastic. The entire team at Maryfield have been like an extended family to Mum and she was very happy and settled right from the
start.
Mum loved joining in with the range of activities on offer and it has always been so impressive to see the effort made to include everyone. It has been so lovely getting to know all the team members each time we have visited from afar and we couldn't have wished for a better home for Mum to be cared in, especially when she needed it most.
My heartfelt thanks go to each and every member of the wonderful team at Maryfield for the care that Mum received.

Review is limited as only commenced at the beginning of January 2025 in respite care awaiting an available permanent room. I have been extremely impressed with all aspects of care and attention given to both residents and visitors by very helpful staff.

All staff at Maryfield West Care Home have been excellent and extremely friendly and helpful since our Dad became a resident just two weeks ago. All his needs are attended to and everything has been well explained to our family. Our dad has also got his appetite back and is eating well again at the
Care Home.

My mum was very well looked after for the 3 weeks she was in for respite. From the beginning, the communication was amazing e.g asking all about my mum's likes/dislikes and routine etc. The staff were very friendly and really seemed to care. My mum seemed very happy and I would not hesitate to put
her back in.

I am very impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of every member of staff. The menu choices are good and look appetising.
The activities look fun and most residents join in with a smile on their face and again appropriate for all.
Staff seem to be aware of the resident's needs and always
seem happy to help. I am delighted with this Care Home.

From the first time I visited, I was very impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. The facilities and the food all seem very good and my mother is very happy with her care here.

I need you to find somewhere for my friend relocating from England. The manager in particular was helpful in making it all work. Staff in the home are friendly and caring and cope well with my friend who can be stubborn and challenging. The atmosphere in the home is lovely.
