This was my first visit, the lad on reception was very friendly and helpful, as was the home manager. It was a short visit, but I thought the home was wonderful. Cannot comment on the food as not experienced it.

Polite and helpful staff always. Provide drinks for me and resident. Friendly attitude. Welcoming of me and treat me as a necessary n welcome visitor, rather than just do their minimum job. Think I would recommend the place to others because of that.

My stay at Ashlynn Grange was much appreciated, as I needed a change of residence for a break from my usual routine. The staff were very helpful, and I could not have asked for better care. I give all the staff my thanks for all their help.

I just wanted to show my appreciation for what this care home establishment is doing for my family. My aunt who has deteriorated this last half a year has been a testing time for everyone from multiple hospital stays to rehabilitation into her home after her husband of 53 years passed away suddenly
making my aunt without a carer. She did amazing during this time but in the end, her body and mind didn't take well to this drastic change. After laughter and tears, my beautiful aunt has now a home at Ashlynn and with the first week being a challenge again with her health, the care home kept me fully informed of how they would support my aunt in and out of hospital. The staff at Harvester have been nothing but supportive and positive to give my aunty the best outcomes from double checking medication from the hospital to booking her next medication check ups. My aunt joins in weekly activities and even says she enjoys it. She has made some friends and has connected with the staff. Thankloads

We have found this home very welcoming and a happy place. All the staff are lovely, and all seem happy in their work. My husband is well cared for in every way. He is encouraged to join in with activities. His medical needs are well cared for, and they (the staff) are always vigilant in how he is.

This care home is lovely, and friendly faces greet you all over the site, with always smiling staff. On Dad's 97th birthday, the staff sang to him and even gave him a cake made by the chef. This is a very caring place for Dad to be looked after at this time of his life.

Ashlynn Grange has exceeded my hopes for my mum moving in. I enjoy coming to see mum - all the staff are so welcoming and friendly and helpful, and I've nearly learnt all their names. They all treat my mum with kindness and respect, which gives me a great deal of happiness and peace of mind when I'm
not here. I really do feel so grateful knowing mum is looked after. I enjoy coming and taking part in the events and activities. I always appreciate the staff getting Mum involved in the activities. Thank you.

It was a very quick process moving my father into Ashlynn Grange. The manager came out to assess him and he was welcomed a few days later. They have done all they can to get him settled. Everything was smooth and stress free and the staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you.

At 98 years of age, my father is a determined individual very much set in his ways, especially since my mother passed away a few years ago having been together for over 65 years. In order to move forward from this terrible miss he was able to fall back on his military training to re-organise his
life. Unfortunately his health and wellbeing has deteriorated somewhat in recent months and, after a considerable amount of discussion and persuasion, he agreed to go to a care home for some initial respite. He has been at Ashlynn Grange for around a month now and, despite his initial lack of enthusiasm, he seems to be gradually warming to the experience. He now has a laugh and a joke with most of the staff. This is all down to the positive caring approach of all of the staff, from cleaning to management, they are all very keen to please, no matter how cantankerous a resident (or visitor) can be and are always looking for input/feedback regarding the service provided. All good thus far:)

Dad (George) is happy and settled in the care home. The food is always good which dad is happy with. The room is always clean and staff friendly. Dad mostly looks clean and showered depending on the days/times of visits etc. Facilities at the home are great with the coffee shop be an amazing
addition where we can walk and take dads out to feel like he is going out somewhere. Activities that they take part in are really good including the music and dancing that takes place.
We've recently brought dad is second pair of glasses since being in the home and mentioned to management, home manager and above about putting a note that dads need to be encouraged to wear is glassed to help his dementia and eye stigma but every photo we see of dad and whenever we visit he never has them on. Its only a small thing but I wonder how many staff know about this.
We also mentioned several times and requested by email for dads TV socket to be changed and the TV aerial keeps falling out the wall

We placed our mum at the Ashlynn Grange Care home for 1 month rest bite to see how she managed moving out of her home after some falls. The month is now completed and we have with mum's agreement decided to leave her at Ashlynn Grange on a permanent basis.
The reasons for this are:
The management
and staff take the extra step to ensure that mum feels happy and enjoys her day, they have plenty of activities for mum to take part in which she enjoys.
She loves the food and likes the fact that everything is cooked fresh and after spending many years on her own now has daily companionship which she is thriving on.
The care home is a very clean and is very light with many areas where families can sit in private to talk, or alternatively join in with the daily activities with the other residents.
Mum was in another care home for a brief time before she went to Ashlynn Grange, and the change in her happiness with the move is very evident
I cannot recommend Ashlynn Grange enough

Our mother went into Ashlynn Grange care home for 11 days respite. She received excellent care and was treated with respect. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and appeared to work very hard. The only disappointing aspect was the lack of any activities. Although mum has dementia, she
goes to a day centre normally and enjoys taking part in all sorts of activities. It seemed that the residents were just placed in front of the TV all day.

Before moving into Ashlynn Grange my dad had completely withdrawn from life, refusing to come out of his bedroom in his own home. He has now been living at Ashlynn Grange for 4 weeks and is a changed man. The staff at Ashlynn Grange are all lovely and friendly, and are very encouraging. He now eats
really well and has put on some much needed weight. The chef even cooked him something different when he didn't like what was on offer for dinner one day.
Dad is joining in with lots of activities from crafts to armchair exercises, to singing and dancing, and a trip out for a pub lunch, where my mum and I were invited along too. They have a great app where they share photos and videos of the activities that have been going on.
Ashlynn Grange has been a life saver for us as a family. I would recommend this care home to anyone in need, in fact I already have recommended Ashlynn Grange to a friend.
