Ashlynn Grange care home is a part of the Athena Care Homes (UK) Ltd group, situated in Bretton Gate Peterborough. The care home offers Nursing, Dementia Nursing, Residential, Residential Dementia and Palliative care. Intermediate and Respite care are also provided.

The home is all ground floor for ease of access for residents and visitors and is situated 200 metres from Peterborough City Hospital. All rooms have en-suite facilities.

Before moving into Ashlynn Grange my dad had completely withdrawn from life, refusing to come out of his bedroom in his own home. He has now been living at Ashlynn Grange for 4 weeks and is a changed man. The staff at Ashlynn Grange are all lovely and friendly, and are very encouraging. He now eats
really well and has put on some much needed weight. The chef even cooked him something different when he didn't like what was on offer for dinner one day.
Dad is joining in with lots of activities from crafts to armchair exercises, to singing and dancing, and a trip out for a pub lunch, where my mum and I were invited along too. They have a great app where they share photos and videos of the activities that have been going on.
Ashlynn Grange has been a life saver for us as a family. I would recommend this care home to anyone in need, in fact I already have recommended Ashlynn Grange to a friend.

I visited Ashlynn Grange when I was looking for a carehome near my home. Immediately I felt comfortable, everyone was so friendly, everything was nice and clean and spacious. The gardens were lovely and so were all the facilities. After a thorough chat with the ladies in management who highlighted the
services available I had no hesitation in choosing Ashlynn Grange - for my mum.

My father began his 2 weeks respite filled with apprehension as did not want to leave his home of over 45 yrs. But after a day or two to settle in he now wants to stay & that is a true reflection on the wonderful level of care & love he is receiving from all the selfless carers.
Ashlynn Grange is a
fantastic place, filled with fantastic caring staff whose primary objective is to support their residence regardless if only there for a few days or permanently. I can't thank you enough for giving my father his purpose back as had almost given up & was slowly drawing into himself.
Now I see him dancing & singing & participating in all the activities, it's brilliant to see. Thank you everyone at Ashlynn Grange.

I feel my husband is well looked after kept clean and tidy. The staff are always pleasant and helpful, and they do listen to what you have to say if you have a query or anything. My husband likes to be involved with people to talk or engage in activities. I would like him to be up more than he seems
to be, but at the same time realise there are a lot of people with different needs that have to be cared for. Generally I am happy that my husband is safe and looked after in Ashlynn. Thanks to all the staff

After visiting my partner, the ramp to the car park was blocked by a car parked on the ramp, which meant I had no access for my mobility scooter. When the driver came back, I pointed out his disregard for others, and all I got in return was abuse. Might need a no parking sign?

My father had been in Ashlynn Grange since October 2022, sadly on 13th May 2025 my world passed away. I was called on the evening of 12th to say dad was very poorly. When I arrived 2 of the day carers were with him so he wasn't on his own. As they left they all came in to say goodbye incase he wasnt
there im the morning, which I thought was so lovely of them. I'd never met the night shift before but they made me feel so calm and relaxed all through the night, checking on me as well as dad. Sadly at 6.50 my world collapsed and dad passed. The staff were amazing with me. Letting me lay in dad's bed with him, kept checking on me. When the undertaker came at lunchtime, they shut the corridor doors to stop residents seeing and formed a guard of honour, a thing the undertaker says doesn't happen at many homes. The staff were brilliant all the time dad was there. I was also treated as family when I went up (nearly every day) I'd definitely recommend them 100% Thank you

The staff of Harvester within Ashlynn Grange, Peterborough, are all excellent from cleaning staff to senior management. My father has been a resident for more than 2 years and we have never had any issues. The staff are approachable and always friendly.
If there has been a problem with his health,
I will be contacted day or night to inform me of the situation and what plan they have put in place to resolve the problem

My mother in laws birthday was in may. She felt very special and valued by the carers. The cake was wonderful. The residents shared the experience with her. Me and my husband was there with them. It was a lovely atmosphere. When we took my mother and father in law to see family on there birthday. 2
carers made sure they looked so smart.Ready for the trip. Whatever we ask for nothing is too much trouble. They both loved there garden when they had there home. The Gardner is very helpful and encourages residents to join in.

The Hayward ward is always clean and the staff are always welcoming. My husband is kept clean and any concern I may raise is promptly addressed and put right. He enjoys the food. Every member of staff seems to know his name and talk to him.

My Mum moved into Harvester Jan 2025. She was very unsettled initially but that was no different in her own home but she does now appear to be settling and refers to her bedroom as her room. Since the first day, we have found the team working in Harvester to be very approachable and always friendly.
My Mum is very much more engaged now as there is always so much going on around her, whether that be the people coming in to work with or entertain the residents, or the general day to day happenings.
Everyone that we see and meet is always friendly and always have a smile on their face, whether that be the Harvester Team, Maintenance team, cleaners, reception and Manager.
When we visit, tea and biscuits are offered and access to the quiet room.

We have nothing but praise for staff & carers on Hayward, the care Mum has received has been kind, courteous & caring even through her sometimes challenging behaviour their unwavering support is second to none. There is only one niggle we have & that is clothes not so much the dresses now, but brand
new PJ's never to be seen since we took them in & constant replacement of knickers & socks. I know laundry must be difficult to control especially if doing more than one ward.

I find the staff to be very patient & caring towards my dad. His needs are catered for on an individual basis. The staff are extremely helpful and always on hand to answer any questions or queries. Having travelled from Devon to see a relative, the welcome we received from staff was excellent. Shown to a private room for our visit, refreshment was provided, the manageress ensuring we had a taxi to take us from care home to hotel.
My I just add our relative seemed better and more informed than
the previous 2 years when she lived on her own.

Even before I had the pleasure of seeing the outstanding facilities for my own eyes, my cousin had spoken very highly of how the care home is and the moment I first stepped in, I could immediately see why! The care home provides the best possible help for anyone requiring care and support both short
term and long term and the staff there are absolutely incredible! My uncle suffers from Parkinson's and it has been soul-destroying to see how rapid his decline has been over a short space of time; he had a substantial stay in hospital as a result of a fall he suffered while at his home. Even with his worsening neurological condition though, the staff there welcomed him with open arms and gave him the chance to become another member of their special family! The way in which they look after people like my Uncle is so incredibly heartwarming and fills anyone with the piece of mind to know he's in the safest place and he's been taken great care of. I'd highly recommend Ashlynn Grange.

Mum stayed in Milton Lodge for 3 weeks respite care after having a knee replacement. The care and support she received from the staff was outstanding. One person in particular went above and beyond with Mum from the minute we arrived, by helping to get her out of the car and settling her into her beautiful
room. Nothing was ever too much for him... he is one in a million and a credit to Ashlynn Grange. I would highly recommend Ashlynn Grange for respite care.

My father stayed at Ashlynn Grange in 2020, and the care her received was superb. Covid was still causing restrictions, and the home went to great lengths to connect him to his family via FaceTime etc. He was also diagnosed with Pakrinson's while staying here, which helped enormously with his ongoing
care.
Today, I received his wedding ring after careful long-term storage!

Following a digestive order my mother needed convalescence care. Ashlynn Grange responded quickly to my enquiry. All the staff were friendly, professional and helpful. My mother recovered more quickly than predicted, and is now back in her own home - if a similar situation occurred again, I would be
