It was a very quick process moving my father into Ashlynn Grange. The manager came out to assess him and he was welcomed a few days later. They have done all they can to get him settled. Everything was smooth and stress free and the staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such an amazing review about our home. This means the world to each and every one of us!
Pleased with the care for my husband. Staff are friendly and welcoming. My husband seems settled and enjoying his stay.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such an amazing review. Your kind words about your experience, the care that we provide and feedback really do mean a lot to us all here at Ashlynn Grange!
I have been very pleased with the care mum has received. The staff have been welcoming and attentive. Mum enjoys the activities provided and especially the afternoon tea. Her room is lovely, airy and clean. I am confident that Mum will be very happy here.

First time using respite at this home. Wonderful, helpful staff looked after my mum. The home manager Renju was particularly helpful and gave us some great advice.
Your kind words really do mean a lot. Thank you for your great review - we appreciate this very much!
We've recently brought dad is second pair of glasses since being in the home and mentioned to management, home manager and above about putting a note that dads need to be encouraged to wear is glassed to help his dementia and eye stigma but every photo we see of dad and whenever we visit he never has them on. Its only a small thing but I wonder how many staff know about this.
We also mentioned several times and requested by email for dads TV socket to be changed and the TV aerial keeps falling out the wall
Thank you so much for taking the time to provide feedback about our home which I can assure you has been acted upon!
At 98 years of age, my father is a determined individual very much set in his ways, especially since my mother passed away a few years ago having been together for over 65 years. In order to move forward from this terrible miss he was able to fall back on his military training to re-organise his life. Unfortunately his health and wellbeing has deteriorated somewhat in recent months and, after a considerable amount of discussion and persuasion, he agreed to go to a care home for some initial respite. He has been at Ashlynn Grange for around a month now and, despite his initial lack of enthusiasm, he seems to be gradually warming to the experience. He now has a laugh and a joke with most of the staff. This is all down to the positive caring approach of all of the staff, from cleaning to management, they are all very keen to please, no matter how cantankerous a resident (or visitor) can be and are always looking for input/feedback regarding the service provided. All good thus far:)

We placed our mum at the Ashlynn Grange Care home for 1 month rest bite to see how she managed moving out of her home after some falls. The month is now completed and we have with mum's agreement decided to leave her at Ashlynn Grange on a permanent basis.
The reasons for this are:
The management and staff take the extra step to ensure that mum feels happy and enjoys her day, they have plenty of activities for mum to take part in which she enjoys.
She loves the food and likes the fact that everything is cooked fresh and after spending many years on her own now has daily companionship which she is thriving on.
The care home is a very clean and is very light with many areas where families can sit in private to talk, or alternatively join in with the daily activities with the other residents.
Mum was in another care home for a brief time before she went to Ashlynn Grange, and the change in her happiness with the move is very evident
I cannot recommend Ashlynn Grange enough
Thank you for your amazing review about our home and the team. Your feedback really does mean a lot to each and every one of our team. Thank you so much!
The privacy of have her own room for quiet when needed.
And for activities coordinator and the rest of the entertainment team they are amazing have lots of activities throughout the day and days out.
It's always clean and tidy with nice outside space.
I would recommend for the care and compassion and give 5 stars to all there staff.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such kind feedback about our home and the care we provide. Thank you from all of the team here at the home!
Our mother went into Ashlynn Grange care home for 11 days respite. She received excellent care and was treated with respect. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and appeared to work very hard. The only disappointing aspect was the lack of any activities. Although mum has dementia, she goes to a day centre normally and enjoys taking part in all sorts of activities. It seemed that the residents were just placed in front of the TV all day.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your review about our home. Please know that your feedback has been noted and acted upon in relation to activities provision.
Dad is joining in with lots of activities from crafts to armchair exercises, to singing and dancing, and a trip out for a pub lunch, where my mum and I were invited along too. They have a great app where they share photos and videos of the activities that have been going on.
Ashlynn Grange has been a life saver for us as a family. I would recommend this care home to anyone in need, in fact I already have recommended Ashlynn Grange to a friend.
Ashlynn Grange is a fantastic place, filled with fantastic caring staff whose primary objective is to support their residence regardless if only there for a few days or permanently. I can't thank you enough for giving my father his purpose back as had almost given up & was slowly drawing into himself.
Now I see him dancing & singing & participating in all the activities, it's brilliant to see. Thank you everyone at Ashlynn Grange.
After visiting my partner, the ramp to the car park was blocked by a car parked on the ramp, which meant I had no access for my mobility scooter. When the driver came back, I pointed out his disregard for others, and all I got in return was abuse. Might need a no parking sign?
My father had been in Ashlynn Grange since October 2022, sadly on 13th May 2025 my world passed away. I was called on the evening of 12th to say dad was very poorly. When I arrived 2 of the day carers were with him so he wasn't on his own. As they left they all came in to say goodbye incase he wasnt there im the morning, which I thought was so lovely of them. I'd never met the night shift before but they made me feel so calm and relaxed all through the night, checking on me as well as dad. Sadly at 6.50 my world collapsed and dad passed. The staff were amazing with me. Letting me lay in dad's bed with him, kept checking on me. When the undertaker came at lunchtime, they shut the corridor doors to stop residents seeing and formed a guard of honour, a thing the undertaker says doesn't happen at many homes. The staff were brilliant all the time dad was there. I was also treated as family when I went up (nearly every day) I'd definitely recommend them 100% Thank you
Thank you so much for your kind words. We are so sorry for your loss, it was our privilege to care for your father. I have shown your comments to our team and this means a lot to them. We are thinking of you and your family and please know that you will always be welcome to visit us here at Ashlynn Grange.
If there has been a problem with his health, I will be contacted day or night to inform me of the situation and what plan they have put in place to resolve the problem
Thank you
The Hayward ward is always clean and the staff are always welcoming. My husband is kept clean and any concern I may raise is promptly addressed and put right. He enjoys the food. Every member of staff seems to know his name and talk to him.
Everyone that we see and meet is always friendly and always have a smile on their face, whether that be the Harvester Team, Maintenance team, cleaners, reception and Manager.
When we visit, tea and biscuits are offered and access to the quiet room.
Great staff. Always smiling and greeting me. They all know mums name from the start. Made us feel very welcome. Great activities.
We have nothing but praise for staff & carers on Hayward, the care Mum has received has been kind, courteous & caring even through her sometimes challenging behaviour their unwavering support is second to none. There is only one niggle we have & that is clothes not so much the dresses now, but brand new PJ's never to be seen since we took them in & constant replacement of knickers & socks. I know laundry must be difficult to control especially if doing more than one ward.
I love seeing the different activities that they do and recently went to the Easter fete - absolutely lovely chatting with the staff and residents
