My dad is very happy here. He feels safe and he loves the staff. He tells us all the time how happy he is here. I can't thank the staff enough for the care and kindness they have shown my dad. Thank you all.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your kind review, we are thrilled that your dad feels safe and happy at Ashlynn Grange, it is always great to share positive reviews with the team.
My mum came in for short stay recovery and had an excellent service, the team were great nothing too much trouble, thank you so much for all the support she’s home now and doing really well thanks to all the food and encouragement.
Thank you for taking the time to review Ashlynn Grange. I am pleased your Mum had a positive experience with us. I will share your comments with our team, it is always a pleasure to share positive feedback.
My daughter has enjoyed her respite stay and has said they took really good care of her. I am very happy with her care, everybody is extremely kind and helpful.
Thank you so much for your positive review, it is a pleasure to know that your daughter's stay was comfortable, and found the team to be kind and helpful, I look forward to sharing with the team.
My husband and l visited my sister today. The care and attention she receives is excellent. We found the staff caring, friendly and knowledgeable. We do not live locally but if we need to call the home our questions are quickly answered.
Thank you for taking the time to review Ashlynn Grange, it is always a pleasure to share with the team that people have had a positive experience with us.
Very caring staff. Dad was happy during his stay, the home was clean and tidy lots for him to do and he enjoyed the food and lots of choices. He was staying following a stay in hospital and the home was much more comfortable than hospital.
Thank you so much for your review, it is always great to hear when people are happy with their experience. I look forward to sharing with the team.
My mum went to the care home in April. When she first arrived it seemed a nice place but after my third visit, I noticed my mum wasn't cared for and looked after how she should have been and ended up in the hospital due to neglect.
Thank you for taking the time to review Ashlynn Grange, I note that you have been dissatisfied with the service to your Mother and would like to have the opportunity to discuss these matters further with yourself. We pride ourselves on high standards of care here and deeply apologise for the distress caused. We would like the opportunity to listen to your concerns so we can make improvements.
I feel Mum is looked after really well. But I do feel there could be more familiar faces at weekends as there tends to be more agency staff. I do feel the regular staff are really good and some will go the extra mile to do what they can for Mum.
Thank you for taking the time to review our service, we are delighted that you think your Mum is looked after with dignity and respect. We value feedback and will always review and are looking at ways to improve our services, we are actively recruiting to our team reducing the need to use agency staff which will have an impact to the amount of agency staff usage.
Delivery of the food, especially if he complains, is sometimes not replaced or served with care. I know he is set in his ways but he always used to look forward to meals. Now only breakfast is what he looks forward to. Please, please look into the food, soggy sandwiches are not acceptable.
Thank you for taking the time to review Ashlynn Grange, we are always pleased to receive feedback so we are able to improve our service to our residents. I am delighted that you are pleased with the management and staff team, following your review we have arranged discussions with the Chef and will be working together to improve the dining services to your Father.
Sadly they let my wife down after being told by the visiting doctor to give my wife pureed food. She only received solid food. This was confirmed by a member of staff the day before she was admitted to the hospital with severe dehydration which has left her with other medical problems now. When my daughter and I went to collect her belongings nobody said sorry in any way whatsoever. Would not recommend this care home.
Thank you for taking the time to review Ashlynn Grange, I note that you have been dissatisfied with the service to your wife and would like to have the opportunity to discuss these matters further with yourself. We pride ourselves on high standards of care here and deeply apologise for the distress caused. I will share this with the team and learning will be developed as a result of this.
My Dad has been at Ashlynn Grange for a few months now. I visit most days. The carers are wonderful. Dad loves the food. The only criticism is the staff work such long, hard hours and don't always have time to fit in everything they would like to. I know it really helps them when I assist Dad with meals as they are often short-staffed. It would be better if the hairdresser and chiropodist came more frequently as my Dad's toenails are almost as long as his toes!
Staff always want to go that extra bit in their treatment of residents and visitors. Nothing is ever too much trouble.
Thank you for taking the time to review us, it is always a pleasure to share feedback with the team and encouraging to know that people are receiving a good service.
I have always found everyone to be very kind, caring, and courteous with my mum. They explain what they are going to do if I am there and always seem to be reviewing her care as her condition changes. Mum can only eat purée food but they always present the food with care to make it look nice. It’s lovely to chat to the carers that feed her and they tell me what she enjoys. I am always greeted with a smile no matter how busy everyone is. Thank you so much to everyone for looking after my dearest mum.
Thank you Karen so much for your kind feedback and for taking the time to review Ashlynn Grange. We are delighted to hear that you are pleased with the service your Mum receives. Feedback is always appreciated and it is rewarding to have our team recognised for their commitment. I will share this valuable feedback with the team.
My experience on Haywood (unit) visiting my mum has been pleasant overall. The staff are polite, helpful and professional and have shown a great fondness towards my mum. I thank each and everyone including management for their kindness and for caring for my mum especially throughout lockdown.
Thank you for your kind review. Our residents’ wellbeing is our main priority, and it is great to hear that you were so pleased with the quality of our care. We always appreciate individuals taking the time to give their feedback, and we are very pleased to hear that you had a positive experience....
My dad has received very good care. He loves the food and enjoys the entertainment. The staff are friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them.
Thank you so much for your kind review, I will share this valuable feedback with the team.
My mother is well looked after and appears happy and contented. The staff are very caring and seems to think highly of her.
Thank you for taking the time to write this lovely review. We are pleased that you and your mother are happy with the care she is receiving. Our team is very grateful for the positive feedback.
I couldn't wish to be in a better place. The staff are wonderful. I can't get out of bed, and they look after me so well.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. It is important to us to ensure that all our residents are very well looked after and that we are able to engage in positive ways to ensure your stay with us is meaningful and fulfilled.
I find the staff very helpful, informative and pleasant. My mother says they treat her with respect and are happy to assist her as needed. Her room is very clean and bright and nicely decorated. I can't comment on the food as Mum is unable to eat a normal diet. So far both Mum and the extended family are happy for Ashlynn Grange to be her care home.
Thank you for taking the time out to leave us a review. We value each review that comes our way and it's really lovely to hear from our relatives.
My Mothers dignity is maintained, she is very well looked after, exciting care given. I would recommend this care home to my friends and family.
I had a great visit. Everyone went out of their way to make me feel welcome (as always). Nothing is too much trouble. As far as I am concerned the staff are the best.
Thank you for a stellar review of Ashlynn Grange John. It is deeply encouraging to our staff to hear such wonderful feedback on the work they do every day. We would like to share this with the Ashlynn team, to ensure that the service and care we provide are being appreciated and held in such high esteem. Warm regards, Christina, Home Manager.
The care home offers numerous activities for the residents to keep them positively engaged from day to day. Of course, the pandemic has restricted activities such as singing for the brain, children displaying dances and singing. Enjoying the sunshine in summer and parties. My hope that things will improve in due course and even pampering sessions will become a regular event. Visits to the care home were a regular practice and I again hope that things will be restored.
