Ashlynn Grange Care Home

I loved the welcome that my sister and all her family got when she entered the care home. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming, from the manager to the care staff and chef. My sister has been well taken care of since arriving. The staff take time to talk to us and understand my sister's needs. My sister says she is well taken care of and likes the staff.

I have always been impressed by the care and consideration given to both my mother (the resident) and my elderly father who visits regularly. We are always greeted in a very friendly and professional manner. If I had a concern, it would be the frequency of Mum's showing, although I accept staff numbers affect this.

The food is fantastic, a wonderful chef, all fresh food. Mum is happy and content.

I would like to complement the lifestyles coordinator, this goes more than just the month of April, the coordinator is always full of energy and seems to be doing a lot of different activities that my dad joins in with especially if it involves music, keep up the good work.

It certainly takes a weight off of our minds knowing he is being well cared for and has the supervision of qualified staff 24/7.

The food is excellent.

The food looks lovely, Mum just doesn't stop eating, so a big thank you to the chefs and kitchen staff. Also, the laundry keeping Mum's wardrobe always full.

My friend moved to Milton Lodge a while ago, all staff were kind and considerate, ensuring that he settled into his new home well. In addition to excellent nursing care, all the staff carried out their roles to a high standard. They gave him time, which is so very important. The lifestyle coordinator from there tailored some activities to everyone's interests, something that he really appreciates and we loved seeing him smiling and enjoying his last years in a warm and homely habitat.

My dad has been in respite care and every member of staff we have met has been kind, caring, understanding and welcoming. The home really does have a family feel to it. From management to care assistants, everyone has been very understanding and supportive, both to Dad and family members.

My dad moved into Ashlynn Grange in July after spending 11 weeks in the hospital. I cannot fault the care that he has received from all the staff at Harvester House. When we visit, everyone is very smiley and polite. His room is always clean.

My father has been in the care home for seven months. He was transferred there following a six-week stay in hospital. He was not very well when he arrived and I feared for the future. The care and dedication of the staff have had a wonderful effect on his mental and physical recovery. I look forward to my visits where I am always welcomed by a member of staff and usually given a brief update, "He's in a good mood this morning and ate all of his breakfast". I am so grateful to have found the right place for my father and our family. It is such a relief for us all.

When I viewed the accommodation I was not fully aware of the particular needs I would have for respite care after a hip replacement. The room, especially washing and toilet were extremely difficult to use, easily coupled with no hot water did not help. The staff were friendly and helpful. The nursing provision was good and provided for all my needs. The meals were of a variable standard but mainly good but did not take into account my apple allergy. The activities were not really for me.

Came for a short stay at Ashlynn Grange. All good experience, staff excellent. Food was very good. No complaints, would come again.

Excellent bedroom, very clean and tidy. Excellent room with very nice toilet which always looks new. Restaurant food with great quality and well presented. My sister has been at the care home for some time and all aspects of her life have been keeping the high standards she has always received. The staff are her friends always chatting to her when they pass her whilst they complete their chores. A happy and cheerful place for my sister to stay.

Can't think that you could find a better home. Staff of Harvester are very caring and efficient. They have handled the DOLS renewal and the Continuing Care application. My Aunt is very settled and happy there. I live a long way away and I get regular updates on her condition and care requirements. My opinion is always sought for any changes in her care. A word also for the GP, who assesses her regularly and has phoned me with information and reassurance. A fantastic place.

A very comfortable environment and great staff for the residents. Great management, security and staff. Cleanliness of the highest level, property and quality nursing care, amazing daily food menu with great taste.

The staff at Harvester were excellent! The atmosphere in the unit was super, calm, serene etc. My mother was cared for in a very professional, friendly way, 100% commitment in my opinion. Couldn't have asked for more. The staff were always true to their word - if they told me something would be, it was! I'm totally satisfied with the are provided.

I thank goodness my Mum was accepted at Hayward. The staff are very professional and so nice, it has put my mind at rest knowing she is in their care. The staff encourage her to drink which is so important that this is done, she probably wouldn't do this on her own. The food is tasty and nutritious and she is helped with this. I would highly recommend these people.
