View Full Details of Frampton HouseI regularly visit my father in Frampton house. We have been quite satisfied until a few weeks ago when we noticed things were getting a bit missed and untidy. We spoke to the deputy manageress and thankfully things have been sorted. The laundry leaves a bit to be desired sometimes as my fathers clothes are not laundered as they should be. We would like to buy him nice new clothes but afraid they will get ruined. I do think the staff should take more care with peoples belongings. generally overhaul we know he is cared for very well and I would like the staff to know we appreciate them.
After a long battle with Adult Social Care, I finally secured some respite care for my mum at Frampton House. Naturally, you want the best for your parents, and I wasn't sure about the place at first. But wow-I shouldn't have worried. The home is incredibly welcoming, with a warm and homely atmosphere. The staff are amazing; they truly understand the quirks of each resident and take great care of them. The management is fantastic, always responding promptly to emails and addressing any concerns without hesitation. My mum is now moving into Frampton House permanently, as she needs more care, and I feel reassured knowing she'll be well looked after there. Everyone at Frampton House has gone above and beyond to help my mum thrive-from dancing when singers visit to enjoying bingo and so much more. She now has a social life instead of just sitting alone in front of the TV. I wholeheartedly recommend Frampton House to anyone in a similar situation.
Mum has been in Frampton House for three and a half years and has settled in very well, establishing a routine that she is comfortable with. This has been aided by the care and support that management and staff have afforded her. Mum's health, clinical and emotional needs are well catered for with encouragement to join in activities. Her family are happy that she chose to stay at this home.
Mum has been in Frampton House since May 2022. She enjoys the daily activities, having her hair and nails done, and the food provided. The home is always very clean and tidy. The reception rooms and dining room are very beautifully decorated, and the resident's bedrooms are very comfortable. The staff are always very friendly and obliging, and they make every effort to make sure the residents are always clean and dressed well. My sister and I are more than happy with the care Mum is receiving.
My mum has been a resident at Frampton House since October 2019. She's very well looked after and very happy living there. The staff are all very friendly and caring. It's a beautiful old building surrounded by lovely grounds. Highly recommended.
Both my parents were in Frampton house, and they were really well looked after during the time they were there. My mum used to get involved with the cooking activities that they had, and really enjoyed them. The whole staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Management was always on hand and willing to help and assist where needed. Overall, I would give them 5 stars, which is not enough but 5/5 is all I can give. It has the home from home feeling as soon as you enter the place, it has been very difficult during the Covid, but again the help and care given has been fantastic. Would recommend Frampton House with no hesitation.
My mother went to Frampton House for rehabilitation. It soon became apparent that she was in need of palliative care. The following comments are made with the hindsight of my experiences over the last few years at other institutions and care homes, with the care and ultimate deaths of my wife’s parents. During her stay we spent many hours at my mother’s bedside at all hours of the day and night and were always treated with great kindness and curtesy. My mother ultimately, peacefully passed away in a very pleasant private room, surrounded by members of her family, ably supported by the staff and the superb Marie Curie Nurses. My mother was cared for very professionally, with great kindness and dignity by all of the staff and the word care actually meant exactly that. I and my family would like to express our gratitude to the management and all the staff and following our experience of the care extended to my mother, we would not hesitate to recommend Frampton House.
Very unhappy with the level of individual care given to my mother at this home. A written description of day to day activities offered, appear commendable and appropriate, however in my personal opinion left much to be desired. No evidence of Reminiscence Therapy and again in my own opinion, little thought was given to the personal choice of the resident's Friday ' movies and popcorn 'activity. How many residents I wonder elected to watch ' Jungle Book'. Why not a film that would promote conversation and evoke pleasant memories from the past. Staff amenable, however when an unpleasant situation arose very recently, a certain few became rather unprofessional.
Extremely poor care. Understand that this is a time of huge staffing concerns in health and social care, but even so the standard of care afforded our grandmother was clearly unacceptable.
My father has been in Frampton House Care Home over a year. When he first went in he was very ill indeed, it's only through good nursing care that he is doing so well at the moment. The treatment he and I receive is second to none, the staff are very friendly to all who visit dad and the management are very good too. It is like one big happy family. He enjoys all the activities like painting, making cakes and other entertainment. It is so good to know he is happy and being looked after so well. Thanks to you all.
My mum went into Frampton House July and August 2016. It was a very stressful time but the deputy manager came to see mum and spent time explaining what they will do to support her and to get her walking again. When she arrived, she was greeted by all of the staff who were so kind and true to the deputy managers word, got her walking. The time they spent with her along with the care they gave was excellent. The food was home cooked and the residents could have almost anything if they did not like what was on the menu. The rooms were very clean and the activities were good. they included painting, crafts, cooking, bingo, and walking outside in the summer. From the manager, deputy manager to all the staff, thank you for making mums stay so perfect. This is a true care home. Hope to keep in touch. Lovely place to stay x
