I am happy with the are my mum is receiving at Mavisbank Care Home. The manager shows strong leadership and the staff are a very hard-working, caring, and kind team.

Dad came into Mavisbank in March. He settled in well and is a warm and homely home. Staff are brilliant and caring and even know the residents families by first name when visiting. Dad is 96 and spends most of his day walking up and down corridors with his Zimmer, staff are amazed how much he walks.
I would highly recommend Mavisbank to anyone who is looking for a care home for family. Staff from manager to domestics are all very pleasant and nothing is a bother.

Mavisbank Care Home always provides an excellent level of care and support for my mum. There is always a a feeling of genuine warmth and interest in her wellbeing from all members of staff. They have become mum's surrogate family and we see that reflected in their daily interactions with her. The
ethos of care we have experienced extends from manager, through admin staff, nursing, carer and auxiliary staff. We have a high degree of confidence in, and take comfort from the fact that mum is being so well looked after in the last days of her life.

Mum has been in Mavisbank for almost 3 years. I have been very happy with the care Mum has received.
Staff are lovely, caring and know all of the residents well.
Communication is good, and any issues are promptly addressed.
The home is clean, well managed and would have no hesitation in
recommending it.

Nursing home is very homely. Staff are helpful to me. Management is excellent could not ask for better care for my husband would highly recommend this nursing home.

We are very happy with the care and attention provided to my mother in law. Staff are excellent and approachable. Special mention to the Management Team who are very hands on always available.

Mavisbank is run by staff who are caring, helpful and friendly. They attend to the residents needs promptly and with compassion. Staff are always approachable.
I see my mother is well cared for, clean and content. I highly recommend this care home, having had experience in another home which was
extremely disappointing.
As a relative, I am very happy with Mavisbrook and I believe Mum is too. Thanks to all the staff.

Our dad was in Mavisbank Care Home from August 2024 til he sadly passed away in March 2025. At our initial meeting with the management team it was emphasised the importance of treating Mavisbak as the residents' home and throughout our Dad's time there that is exactly as we found it. The managers
and their team treat the residents with care and compassion and do everything they can to make the environment friendly and fun for them. During our Dad's last days the staff team demonstrated genuine compassion, sensitivity and thoughtfulness and we will always be truly grateful for that.

Every day I visit my mother as soon as I enter I am always greeted with a hello how are you from the management team right down to the cleaners and kitchen staff all the staff are happy, smiling, cheerful, talkative its as if they like their work and want to be there. I am very happy with the care
my mother receives. After each visit I know I picked the right care home for my mother (Thank yous)

I always feel relaxed and welcome when i go to visit my aunt in this care home. The staff are always communicating and catering for the residents individual needs and seem to know the families well and always welcome you with a smile and say hello. They are always having activities etc to get not
only the residents involved but their families too. Any suggestions etc are always welcomed and appreciated. Thank you to the manager and wonderful staff for their hard work and dedication!

Lovely, calm, clean and relaxing care home. My aunt is always spoken to/cared for in a respectful and dignified manner by the staff. The manager and Staff ate always very friendly and appear to know everyone including family members well.

I visit the care home weekly to visit my auntie. The staff are always busy but take the time to say hello. They are always so caring and attentive to the residents. I think the manager and her staff team do a fantastic job!! Keep up the good work!!

I think this is brilliant care home. It is warm, and there is a friendly, welcoming and caring atmosphere throughout. The manger is always very welcoming when you first go in and takes the time to speak to everyone. Her staff team are always on the go but their also attentive, kind and caring
towards all the residents. The care home is always trying to get families etc involved and always open to suggestions and ideas. You can really tell this is more than just a job to the staff and the genuinely care about the residents which I think is the most important thing. Thank you to the manager and your wonderful staff team for the amazing job you all do!!!!

What a great time my dad had today in Mavisbank. Local singer in today for residents. Dad loves to dance and hardly sat down today apart from drinking his tea. Thanks to all the team for organising this. Hopefully there will be more of this to come

My mother-in-law has been settled and was made very welcomed. And cant fault the care staff, are so lovely and manager door is always open for support and would recommend encourage to visit and to make their home.

Excellent service and care continue for my mum. From all the staff. The staff are responsive to all my mums needs and keep me up to date at all times.

We have an ongoing issue with laundry. Wrong clothes put in room - clothes not put away properly.
The condition of the window frames in the lounge and bedrooms is shocking. Window frames need to be replaced urgently.
Also, residents' en-suite bathrooms are freezing - heating needs addressing.

Pleased with the care my mum receives. Management and staff are approachable. Any issues I have raised have been dealt with. Nice atmosphere for residents.

The staff have been very caring with my 98 year old very frail mum.
I no longer feel I have to worry about her constantly as she is being well looked after.

My mother has been in the home for 18 months. This is her second care home, as her previous one had offered a poor standard. Mavisbank is totally different. The staff are very attentive and caring. They are a shining beacon in the care home community.
