The staff are really great. My mother who has dementia always comments on the staff. There are loads of activities. This is the best care home that I have visited.

Avoid the dementia floor. Dad spent 6 months here, then was suddenly evicted whilst in hospital. The care he receives elsewhere has put Glenmoor's care in sharper perspective - dreadful.
When evicted, we had 3 live safeguarding issues in place with a social worker (which disappear once evicted). He
fell out of bed multiple times (incl hospitalisation) and it took 5 months & endless emails and meetings for adequate bed safety to be put into place.
In summary, management highly ineffective, fluid management non-existent -Dad's regular blood tests constantly showed dehydration despite us visiting daily to assist, we heard staff talk inappropriately (angry/cruel) to Dad several times, waiting times for basic care like changing a pad or transferring when uncomfortable were too long - often 45 mins, understaffed, poor food.
Some nice staff (Ents/Reception), public area looks great, but poor care & culture from snr mgt down. We know 2 other families with similar experience. MP & CQC aware

Dad has been in Glenmoor House for respite, following a stay in hospital. We are so impressed with Glenmoor that we are hoping Dad will become a permanent resident. We cannot fault how caring all staff are. They have helped so much to support Dad, recently widowed, to settle. It feels like
home-from-home.

My husband Anthony was transferred from another care home in Kettering in February 2025. What a difference!! He needed nursing care which he got immediately. I cannot fault the care he receives at Glenmoor House. It is second to none!! All the staff are amazing & it is such a relief to me as I could
not care for him myself. Thank you all so much.

Resident was moved here and within weeks fell and sustained a serious injury which resulted in major surgery, after being moved back here they have had 3 more falls one of which landed them back in hospital again. The staff are unresponsive to needs and happier to let residents soil themselves
instead of helping them. They complain when they're requested to help. The staff don't seem to care and residents wait far too long when they've requested pain relief for the injuries sustained whilst in the 'care' of this facility. I wouldn't wish for anyone to become a resident here.

My wife has now been in Glenmoor for 8 months and the care and respect she has recieved has been nothing but excellent. The staff have always been very helpfall and the manager always on hand. I'm so glad that she recieves such good care as it comforts me to know she is safe, well and is looked
after.

My father has been at Glenmoor for a couple of years now and we have just moved him back to Kettering for logistical reasons only. The care he has received during his time at Glenmoor has been second to none and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff, especially one lady who knows her residents
inside out, all the 'entertainment' ladies as Dad called them, all the nursing staff as a whole and the two ladies on Reception. We have always been made to feel very welcome as a family and have taken over the lounge on a few occasions! Just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to the whole team for the way they have cared for Dad.

My husband was very happy in Glenmore House. He hopes to return for more respite. Can't thank the staff enough. All wonderful.

Very warm welcome. Very early days so hopefully Mum settles in nicely. Needs some reassurance as she feels scared sometimes. More one-to-one may help settle some days.

Feels like a home, care is really spot on.

Particularly nice care home. Very attentive, caring friendly staff. Mum looked after well in warm and top-quality home, particularly when had recent falls and ended up in hospital. Staff do their best to get Mum involved though she doesn't always choose to. Great communication when anything happens
to Mum, always kept in the loop with everything. Meals always look good. Nice clean care home would highly recommend.

Mum moved to Glenmoor House in March after 5 1/2 years at another home. The improvement in care offered by Glenmoor has been incredible. Within days, medical issues that had not been addressed properly were identified and dealt with, lending to a noticeable improvement in contentment and health.
The staff have been very welcoming, to Mum and all the family and couldn't do more for Mum. They've kept Mum's social interaction high which has really helped improve her mood, especially impressive with her advanced Alzheimer's.
Glenmoor is a wonderful home and we're so happy Mum is here.

When we visit, we are always made to feel welcome by all staff who help to make my brother's visiting time a nice, family time for him and for us. We know this makes my brother happy which is great.

My 95-year-old father spent the last days of his life in Glenmoor Nursing Home. The whole team were second to none. Very professional from the reception team to those on the front line. A real credit to the Avery Group. The family knew Dad was in the right place with attentive, caring staff during
his last days. We would 100% recommend Avery for end-of-life care and support. 10 out of 10!

My husband was in Glenmoor for only 10 days for end-of-life care before his death. He was treated with suck kindness and consideration as were his family members.

This review is to give overall praise to staff at Glenmoor who look after our family member and have done so with care and compassion for such a long time. The staff have built a great relationship with our family member, which is always lovely to see.
Our grandchildren who visit their uncle with
us are toddlers and are always made most welcome, an invite to a children's party to meet Santa just one example.

It has been a pleasure meeting everyone at Glenmoor House. The home is exceptional, and we know that my dad is in a caring and safe place.
17 November 2023
We (both parents) have found the home very friendly and caring. A nice atmosphere to come into and we find the staff very helpful and hardworking. Entertainment is often provided in the lounge area, or in the garden in summertime.
I say we because we always visit together (my wife no longer
drives).

My mum moved here from another care home around three months ago. What a difference! Warm, caring, kind and friendly staff. Feels very homely and I always feel welcome when I visit. Senior staff keep me up to date with all that is going on with my mum and, although they are busy, they always take
time to talk. Good entertainment organised by two lovely activities coordinators. Feel confident my mum is being cared for here.
