Very pleased overall with nursing care and attention provided to our Dad.
It is pleasing to visit regularly to find Dad dressed smartly with good attention to his personal requirements.
Very grateful to the activities team for their variety of events and visitors to the home.
Although Dad's room
is satisfactory, it would benefit from improvements to keep it modern and more appealing.

More than pleased and happy with how my wife is being looked after. Staff are friendly and obliging. My wife gets on well with them and I am kept well-informed about her condition. I was reluctant to take this step but now glad I did.

We cannot fault the above care home. All staff went above and beyond with care. The staff are all truly amazing and make all our family so welcome. Music in the background plus so much entertainment for all. A lovely, friendly care home, which we cannot fault in any way.

Drummohr Care Home is very welcoming and friendly. My mother is treated with dignity and respect. I've visited at different times of the day, have always felt comfortable, and Mum seems happy, which is the main thing.

Excellent person centred care to residents and families no agency used in last year. the staff are caring and lusten to needs and concerns. Management and staff are welcoming and approachable. Home feels homely and welcoming.

My brother was reluctant to move from hospital anywhere but his home however the staff at Drummohr are welcoming and friendly. What's more they are consistent. No agency workers and this makes a big difference. The room he has is small but all he'd really need is room for a second chair as visitors
have to sit on his bed. He likes to stay in his room at the moment. The food has tempted him to eat more and is varied. The activities he is yet to take part in, but thankfully shows an interest. I looked at so many places and it is a huge relief to have him settled and thriving in a warm, safe, friendly place.

The care shown to my mother in the nearly 2 years she stayed there was amazing. During that time she had a major illness and arrived back from hospital unable to sit or stand by herself or feed herself. With the support of the staff she is now able to do all these things again. Staff are friendly
and approachable, went out of their way to help and support me managing things from 200 miles away and cared for and spoke to mum with affection.

Insufficient food and drink due to sleeping at meal times. Few activities for totally deaf. Carers using mobile phones at work. No hairdresser for months.

Entertainment extremely good, plenty of activities for residents. Involvement with the community good, residents enjoyed joining in the gala day coffee morning, well organised.

My dad moved in to Drummohr care home at the beginning of April. The kindness, care and support shown to my dad (and to our whole family), from the outset has been incredible, and far beyond my expectations. The staff supported me with the transition of settling my dad in to Drummohr, and now every
time I come in to see my dad, I am greeted with open arms and smiles, and I feel as if I belong to a special caring community. It has been an absolute joy to meet so many caring and kind individuals (staff members). I know my dad is in safe hands. My dad loves the staff, and it is lovely to see him smiling and talking to staff as if he has known them all his life. Whether I call to speak to a member of staff, or I am talking to someone face to face, nothing is too much trouble. They always follow up on what they say they will do. My dad is safe; he is being cared for; and he is happy. I am grateful to everyone at Drummohr for looking after my dad as if he was a part of their own family.

A Truly Exceptional Place. I can't speak highly enough of the care and compassion shown by the team at Drummohr Nursing Home. From the moment we first walked through the doors, it was clear this wasn't just a care facility-it was a warm, welcoming home.
The staff go above and beyond in every way,
treating residents with dignity, patience, and genuine kindness. It gave our family such peace of mind to know our loved one was not just being looked after, but truly cared for.
The communication from the team has been excellent, and they always take the time to keep us updated and involved. The home itself is clean, bright, and thoughtfully run, with a real sense of community and respect.
We're incredibly grateful for the dedication and professionalism of everyone at Drummohr. Thank you for making such a positive difference in all of our life.

We were nervous about mum moving to the care home, the staff have been so welcoming + considerate. Mum has settled in well, shame she can't remember all the daily activities but great reminder seeing what shes doing via pics on facebook. Everyone is professional and caring, we thank you all for your
support + ongoing care.
p.s Little request, can you do more sing alongs to Vera Lynn + Glenn Miller big band music

My mum always seems happy enough. It is good that we can use the quiet room when visiting as we often take our grandchildren to visit their Great Granny so gives us more space. I have no problems with the care home apart from feeling that they don't go on enough trips even though there is a Care
Home Bus. I also feel that mum doesn't get outside enough although smokers do! I also feel that the people on the ground floor seem to be shown more on social media so it looks like they have more activities.

On the whole I am satisfied with mums care at Drummohr. There were a few instances mid year when I had to approach the staff regarding mum's cleanliness this was quickly rectified and was due to staff changes. The new staff did not know mum needed assistance washing and dressing. Find some staff
members are more compassionate than others. Mum can be difficult to deal with at times so understand its not easy for them.

My father entered the home in September and my overall experience so far is excellent. I had concerns about him settling into his new environment but these were quickly eliminated thanks to the staff. I have found all members of staff to be helpful and reassuring when I have asked questions or
raised concerns. After less than a fortnight, I could not have anticipated the settling-in period any better.
