View Full Details of Foxley LodgeMy experience is fairly good. Love it to be better but as it's not a private organisation can't expect it to be wonderful. My aunts room is quite dusty. I wipe the surface when I'm there as very dusty. Her carpet is hoovered but shoes are not moved so dust around the shoes. Bedding goes missing and a Throw for her bed that was in a draw for several months went missing and not found. Her heating doesn't work well so she has to have mobile radiator's which is not good because it's down to her turning it off and on. The staff and manager are really lovely
The care home meets the needs of my family member. The staff are always friendly, and the care manager continues to be responsive to the specific needs of my family member, which were challenging when he first became a resident. Regular newsletters are distributed, and meetings are arranged periodically to keep residents and relatives updated on general issues relating to the care home.
The staff are very good and always show care and empathy. They are very polite and are always on hand to help out. Overall, I have no issues with the care my father receives as he seems happy and content.
I found the overall care is very good and the manager and staff very helpful. My dad has been improved, and the care is quality and the best. My dad's mental state has improved, and no concerns. They are able to engage my dad in activities and have improved his mental state.
My aunt was a resident at Foxley Lodge. They provide very good service. All staff are competent and compassionate. Manager is very friendly and accessible and competent. She is accessible at any time. The home has reasonable menu choices for residents and they were providing vegetarian meals as well.
My friend was discharged from the hospital to Foxley Lodge and the environment is clean and safe. They also have competent carers and experienced carers. When I go to visit my friend I can see differences in her wellbeing. Foxley Lodge is a place a way from home that I will recommend.
My Cousin has been a resident in Foxley Lodge since January 2021. Sadly in that time, I have been unable to visit him due to COVID restrictions plus the fact that I live in Manchester and travel has been extremely challenging. I will say that my contact with Foxley Lodge has always been positive and my conversations with my cousins have lead me to believe that he is being well cared for in a caring and safe environment. The marks given below reflect the fact that I have as yet been unable to visit personally.
My mother has been at Foxley Lodge for 7 months and we have been happy with the care provided. The staff seem caring and know her as an individual. They are always happy for us to talk directly to medical care providers and they have tried to make visiting as easy as possible within covid restrictions.
Foxley Lodge took in my Mum at a time of crisis. They have taken very good care of her. She suffers from dementia and I have noticed a great improvement with her. She is more aware and talkative. She is well cared for, well fed and is benefiting from the regular company, good food and a safe environment. My mother enjoys the garden and is much better. The staff are always very nice when we call. Thank you.
I would like to thank all the staff and residents at Foxley Lodge for providing an excellent standard of care to my dad who sadly passed away. He was looked after by all the staff in a dignified way. Has very much loved by all of them. Infection control measures are in place to safeguard all visitors. All the carers are very caring. I would like to thank them again.
