My father is a difficult chap at times and his condition leads him to believe he is a lot more capable than he is. The staff at Seven Hills handle his idiosyncrasies and inconsistent behaviours with dignity and care. It is obvious that they really empathise with him and provide for him with
tolerance and kindness. Catherine, his key worker, clearly understands where he is and is compassionate in the care she provides. Its a lovely place for him to be.

Happy with overall care. Staff are generally very caring, warm and responsive. Facilities could be better eg more spaces for visitors but my father is very settled there and I feel he is in good hands. It would be nice if there was more outside space/gardens etc. Communication from staff and
management and nursing team is very good. Our concerns are listened to and acted on. Would recommend.

My Aunt went to Seven Hills after some difficult times in other care homes. The level of training and knowledge within the care team at Seven Hills has been shown to be superior. For example, they are able to recognise signs that my aunt may be becoming distressed and take action to distract her
from it or move her to a quieter environment. This has helped to prevent the types of incidents that occurred at previous homes. We can also see that she relates well to the care staff.
The home is kept very clean. There are no unpleasant smells at this care home. Full marks to the team.

I have only good things to say about Seven Hills. The place is very clean, well managed, and the staff are friendly, hard working, attentive and caring. My mother is happier living here, and I'm comforted knowing she's well looked after and safe. On top of that, she has regained her appetite,
improved her mobility, and is more engaged with the world.

This home is welcoming as soon as you walk through the door every member of staff I have met and spoken to has been exceptional, I have found them kind caring understanding of every single resident and what a change you can actually sit in the lounge and chat as though you are in their own home with
refreshments offered. The staff obviously have taken time to get to know the residents about their lives and families, seeing choice given to food, clothes where they wish to sit they are listened to. I love my visits and feel valued and my continuation to the friendship is needed. Management are wonderful everyone knows my name, so much more to say.

My experince when visiting my relative has always been of a very good standard of care, nothing appears to be too much trouble for the staff, no matter what you ask of them. Although I have not actually been present when the food is served, the menu for dinner, always displayed, looks very tasty and
well-planned.

The residents are shown a high level of respect and treat as individuals with individual needs. All the staff are happy and cheerful, showing care and
interest in delivering a high quality interactive experience. There are regular sessions of activities and life enrichment such as coffee mornings, mocktails, music and dancing, games like badminton with balloons and they never miss someone's birthday.

My mum moved into Sevenhills after spending time in hospital due to a fall at her previous care home. The staff welcomed her warmly into the home and she quickly settled into a happy life in their care. All of the staff at Sevenhills displayed genuine affection for my mum despite her bouts of
aggressive behaviour when anxious. They often told me that they loved her and I believe that this was true.
I can never thank the management and staff enough for the exceptional care they gave my mum, they filled the end of her life with love and joy.

After a failed placement elsewhere the manager went above and beyond to ensure our father's move to Seven Hills was successful. The staff are fantastic nothing is too much trouble. Whenever we visited we were greeted warmly and always offered refreshments. Every effort is made to get to know the
residents and meet their individual needs with compassion and dignity. As a Christian, it gave my father great comfort that the staff would read passages from the Bible and sing to him.
My father passed away suddenly, unfortunately, the family did not make it in time to say goodbye, however, a staff member was with him to the end for which we will be forever grateful.
It is the staff who make a care home and the staff at Seven Hills are second to none.
01 August 2024
I have to echo the review that says the team are fantastic. My father was in a care home prior to being in Seven Hills and what is striking is the level of care and attention he now receives. The home is well resourced with staff and everyone is really friendly. The Manager is brilliant - very
approachable and practical. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Seven Hills to anyone. They do really understand dementia and treat my father with the utmost compassion. I can tell they really care about him and the dignity of all of their residents.
I can't comment on the food and drink and there is no option for 'don't know' so I've gone for satisfactory as I cannot say either way.

My relative is well cared for at Seven Hills. She has a friendly and professional team meeting all her needs. She is always well dressed and appears cared for with her hair brushed and a smile on her face.
As a private resident, the fees are very high and this can be a concern.

The team at Seven Hills were fantastic from start to finish. My father was accepted into the home after a difficult period finding the right place for him. The manager was reassuring and has a great work ethic and communication. We visited almost every day and saw nothing but positive things. He was
always smartly dressed and well shaven and I felt his particular needs and personality were very well considered. The environment is calm clear containing and consistent and the staff very thorough, friendly and caring. Communication with the GP was exemplary and this made a difficult situation very much better. Sadly my dad passed away but it's a deep comfort that he had such a high level of care in his last months and I will forever be grateful to the Seven Hills Team.

My father has lived at Sevenhills for a couple of years. Unfortunately, he passed away last week, but I want to acknowledge everyone at Sevenhills - they treated Dad like one of their own family. In the last week, when me and my sister pretty much lived there, they could not do enough to make the
horrific time more bearable.
The food at the nursing home is better than you can get at some restaurants.
They are a team that truly cares about everyone, and in those final days, dignity and comfort were put at the top - not just for Dad but for us.
A heartfelt thanks to everyone.
22 November 2023
When I received a call from a social worker saying that there was only one nursing home prepared to accept my dad, I feared the worst but I needn't have worried. As soon as I met the manager, I felt better. This feeling continued as I got to meet the team. I know my dad was cared for with genuine
affection and dignity despite his challenging behaviour (caused by dementia). Everyone working at Seven Hills contributed to making his last months as good as they could be. They were also so kind and supportive of me whenever I visited. They could see how painful it was to see him deteriorate and showed me so much care and compassion. I don't know what I would have done without them.
