Excellent describes Caton House in all aspects of car and accommodation. My sister has become a person since she was admitted to Caton House. She is motivated and full of praise for the deputy manager and all his staff. This is more than a care home its a community. My sister loves it. She is very
proud she has joined the choir.

The care and attention given to my wife, who suffers from Alzheimer's, has been excellent thought out the 2 week stay in April 2026. The staff are caring and kind and always on hand. The meals are exceptional with choice and options at every meal time. Felt like a family environment.

Caton House has been in my life since 2015 when I made arrangements for my much loved neighbour to become a resident he was there until his passing in 2015 and absolutely loved it and the staff of whom many are still there loved him. My friend of over 30 years became a resident in February of this
year and too is very well looked after. For this I give 5 stars.

My mother in law is very happy here, she has improved so much in the 2 months of being here. She is looked after & cared for as if she is part of the family. We couldn't of wished for a better place as her last home. Huge thank you to all the staff for looking after her & treating her with respect.

My parents have recently moved into Caton House after finally accepting that they need 24 hour, care, support and kindness. Caton House and the team give them that care and support to allow them to continue their lives with everything they need. It has been a massive change for them. One they were
not looking forward to, but with the kindness and consideration of Alex and her team, we can all be assured they will now be safe and supported.

Despite only being resident for a very short time, my parents were treated to a lovely afternoon tea with cakes for both their anniversary and a special birthday. We were all looked after very well by the catering and caring staff, with nothing being too much trouble. In addition, all the staff at
Caton have made sure the transition from their own home into 24 hour care has been a smooth and hassle free experience - more than any of us could have hoped for. Mum is loving the daily activities and is already making friends. Caton is such a caring community, we could not have chosen better for our beloved parents.

I have been a resident at Caton House for over 3 years. The nurses, care staff & cleaners are very good and caring. The food could do with a "face lift" it's been similar food since I first came here. I do realise that they are catering for residents who possibly are not aware of the food, but I
know what I am eating, so it makes a difference to me!!!!

Always greeted with a smile and quick chat. Sometimes Mum is in the activity room taking part in whatever is going on at the time.
It did take her a good while to get used to her new surroundings and to feel comfortable taking part and getting involved, but it does her good and keeps her 'in the
moment'. Occasionally she is to be found in her room snoozing or engaging with family/friend who've called in to see her. The staff are always attentive and helpful as I've found. Thank you.

Mother in law has recently moved into your home, we are so impressed as to how she has settled in, your home is so welcoming with all staff being very friendly and kind. Your home is so clean and the activities are brilliant. M.I.L is being so well looked after, we are so grateful, thank you x

My relative is well cared for at Caton House. The staff are very friendly, warm and professional. The room is clean, spacious and bright. My family member is looked after with such a care and dignity.

My friend has been a resident in Caton House for six years, and has been treated with immeasuable kindness.
It has always been a pleasure to walk through the doors of Caton House to visit my friend. Whether it is management or receptionist, the welcome is warm. Nurses, carers activity leaders, ,
cleaners, cook, admin staff who make up the whole of Caton House are extremely friendly & kind, answering any questions, sorting out difficulties & problems to their best ability.
My friend has been uncomfortable lately with the hygienic pads but on speaking to management and folk in charge of this deoartment, the outcome has been excellent.
There has been one complaint during my friends time at Caton House, but management listend to the complaint attentively and things were resolved for the benefit of my friend.
I have recommended Caton House to many, during my volunteering at a Memory Club.
I cant imagine there being a more efficient and happier Care Home.

We are very pleased with Caton House. The look and cleanliness is superb. Mum's room is very nice and always clean and tidy. Staff are are always friendly and helpful. Parking is easy. Access is easy.

Our mother has settled into Caton House very well and and is very happy. The staff look after her complex needs very well as she needs 24 hour care, which we could not be able to provide for her at home. All the staff we meet are kind and professional and are always willing to help. Thank you to you

Extremely happy with this carehome..An absolutely amazing effort by all staff over Christmas to make it lovely for residents and visitors.
All staff are approachable and helpful. Take any concerns seriously and act on them.
I feel they know the residents needs and know us as a family. A very
much needed personal approach. From Diane on reception, Alison in admin and Ed who seems to always be there for our queries and to all the staff who make mum smile

We are very happy with the level of care and support provided to my mum who has dementia and is bedridden. The staff at Caton house are very caring, friendly and keep us informed of any concerns.). There are plenty of activities for those who are able bodied, sadly our mum isn't one of those, but
the staff include her in any celebrations as best they can. We have total faith in the staff and our minds are at rest knowing she is getting the best care at Caton house.

Our Mum was a resident of Caton House for over 4 years. She arrived with a terrible sore gained at another care home. The Team at Caton House had the sore healed within 4 months through their dedicated 'Nursing' care.
Throughout our Mums dementia journey the dedication staff treated Mum & us as
part of the Caton family & team.
Things did not always run smoothly, thats an impossible task, but any concerns were taken seriously and we felt listened to and part of our Mums care.
There are so many excellent staff at Caton House it is impossible to name them all.
It was always hard for us to except that Mum could not be cared for at home by us, but it was not until Mums 'end of life' journey that we really understood what a comfortable home Caton was/is and just how much we appreciated the amazing staff at Caton.
The work they do is so undervalued in society, but not by us, we will be forever grateful for their dedication to good care. Thank you to a very special team of people.
