View Full Details of Victory Care HomeVictory is a very calm environment, my friend and other residents always seem very happy when I visit. Staff are lovely to all the residents. They always make me feel welcome. I enjoy my visits and feel happy when I leave. A really lovely place!
I could not have asked for a more dedicated care home for my husband, I had great peace of mind, knowing that he was in a safe place, surrounded by people who cared for him as if he were past of their family. Each and everyone one of you provided exceptional care. Unfortunately my husband is no longer with us but I know he would want me to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your care, kindness and the love you showed my husband. With heartfelt thanks. My husband 12/4/43 - 16/7/25
We could not praise Victory Care Home enough. The staff and management team have shown exceptional care and compassion towards my dad whilst being in their care and after returning from a short stay in hospital. The home is always clean and the staff go above and beyond to deliver great care. You are always welcomed with a smile and a hello, and nothing is every too much trouble. As a family we would highly recommend Victory Care Home.
I have been visiting a friend for 2 yrs now and are very impressed with care he is receiving. The staff are excellant and the home generates a happy place. Visitors are always welcome.
My friend seems very happy when I came to see her. Care staff often take her for walks. She seems really settled and Victory has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. She seems to have a close bond with the office manager as well as some of the other staff.
Very happy with the care my father is receiving at Victory Care home. You can really tell the staff care about the residents. The furniture is dated, and canlis dirty. I think better covering choices over material world have been better.
The staff go above and beyond to make sure the residents feel safe. They take the time to get know each individual preferences and needs which made a difference to our family. The meals are well-balanced and meet the needs. Most importantly, we have peace of mind. Thank you to everyone at Victory Care Home.
Victory is becoming like a second home to me. This can only be because of the loving, caring staff, not only the affection given to my mum, but me too. The staff react to my concerns with effect and communicate with me all outcomes. Putting my mind at ease. Care is given on a personal level and helps residents to retain a relationship with their loved ones. A special thank you to two members of staff in particular, also another amazing member of staff. Well done to the management team!
My brother lived at Victory House for two years. The staff were generally kind-hearted but mostly clueless about dementia and slapdash with tasks. Some had strong foreign accents. His nails were often long and dirty and his hair unwashed: I often had to complete his personal care and finish dressing him. I had to tidy his room strewn with unused bed linen and request towels to shave him. Some staff would change his radio station to their own choice. All his possessions were marked but I still had to sort and remove items that did not belong to him and search for those missing, including a good quality duvet (its replacement was paid for by Victory). The food was high in carbohydrates and often nutritionally poor (jelly, etc.). There did not appear to be any senior staff member ensuring that care standards were met, or any management quality control. There were no dishwashers in the kitchenettes, which may have contributed to two outbreaks of norovirus during his residency.
Good to see my friend and staff are always good and friendly.
My friend is very good as all the staff very courteous and caring.
(Well done to all the staff for their compassion.) My Mum has been in care since Jan 24. She can be challenging at times and was unhappy when first went in. She is very happy now. She had a fall in Dec 24 and broke her elbow, they called an ambulance, which they were advised could be up to 6 hours, they called me but I was unable to come straight away as I was about 2 hours away, the staff kept her safe and comfortable until I was able to take her to A&E.
My grandad has been a resident at Victory for three weeks and the positive change in his mental health and wellbeing has been exponential. He feels safe and cared for and I am secure in the fact he is receiving quality care. The staff have been supportive and what could have been a stressful transition has in fact been surprisingly easy. I am grateful to all staff and residents who have made this more a pleasure for my grandad.
Very helpful staff and management team. Always happy to help. Very pleasant rooms and Mum has put on weight since arriving so plenty of food. Activities lady tries a variety of games and theme days to keep the residents occupied. External visitors always welcome.
Our visits are always pleasant experiences. The staff are helpful and friendly. There is a pleasant atmosphere in the place.
We are both very happy here at the home.
My friend has been at Victory Care Home now for several years. Throughout all that time, I found the staff friendly, professional and caring. Not that I need a care home currently but if I did Victory would be a good place to live.
Lovely care home. My father has settled in and his care is first-class. All carers are experienced, friendly and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble. Always welcoming which puts my mind at rest. Lovely and caring management and friendly. Thank you all.
My husband was recently admitted to Victory Care Home. I have been treated very kindly and this has been a very sad time for me, but everyone here is very positive and the home is very nice. The staff are all friendly and helpful.
Moved my dad into Victory Care Home, following a not so good experience at a smaller care home. The staff are so caring and patient with their guests. From the top down. A very happy environment with a lovely atmosphere. Ten out of ten.
