View Full Details of Pine Lodge Care HomeMy visits to Pine Lodge have been pretty good, if I've had any issues I've gone to staff and its been dealt with. Staff have always been polite and all like being in mums company, she makes them laugh. Mum has settled into her new room which I asked for and she been happy.
My mum been in Pine Lodge just over a year. In this time there have been a few changes, staffing the main problem. All though times they seemed to be stretched, they managed to get by. Hopefully they seem to be getting over this period. As care homes go, its very bright, roomy and comforting. Staff all polite and interact with residents.
My Mum had a week's respite this week, and I can't praise the staff enough for making my mum's stay so positive! Mum was engaged with all daily activities, which helped keep her mentally/physically active. She was a little anxious initially about the thought of staying, but was made to feel so welcome and at home by everyone, that by the end of the week, she didn't want to say goodbye to them all!!
Nice facility and friendly staff overall very good.I found the rooms well equipped. Ensuite attached fully accessible. Beautiful garden the residents can access. They have plenty movement around the home.
In general I am very pleased with the care my husband is receiving; all staff seem extremely caring and considerate of his needs. However, my husband had a cancerous skin legion removed and was due to have the dressing removed and cleaned by the Thursday, but on Friday afternoon it still had not been done until I mentioned it. There doesn't appear to be enough staff on hand to ensure appropriate care and safeguarding at all times. I also took 15 pairs of socks in which have all gone missing, although I have asked about them on several occasions, he is still without any socks weeks later.
Having chosen Pine Lodge for my parents I have been extremely happy with the care given so far. The home is always very clean and the staff are excellent. The care given is first class in often trying circumstances. I would have no hesitation in recommending this home to others.
My mother has been at Pine lodge for the past 4 years. The staff are excellent and treat my mother with dignity, respect and are professional at all time this is all staff for Managers to cleaners. There are daily activity's run by the activity Manager. The catering staff always offer tea and coffee to visitors as well as the residence. The home has a great atmosphere and every one is made welcome. My mother is truly looked after.
Always made very welcome, offered tea or coffee. Included in any entertainment going on. The staff are very lovely and friendly. Home is clean and comfortable, my Mum is settled and enjoys her time here. As a family of a resident, I can say it's a lovely atmosphere and always made welcome.
Mum is always happy when we visit. No real issues. The staff are always good to Mum and she loves them.
Since my mum went into Pine Lodge I have seen changes within the home for the better, I find the management team very approachable when there have been concerns regarding my mum's personal hygiene, these have been addressed immediately and efficiently. I feel there is scope for improvement regarding meal times and the food that is served at tea time. Myself and family are pleased with Pine Lodge and my mum has settled in lovely.
The management and staff have been very good in helping my mother-in-law settle into the home. They have addressed all my wife's concerns and resolved the majority. We still have some issues over the monitoring of my mother-in-law's personal hygiene but have reported these to the management and are confident the situation will be monitored and corrected. The staff all work hard and show a lot of care and empathy towards the residents.
Generally good and improving. Staff all always very welcoming when I visit and responsive to any concerns.
Some staff could be more caring, but generally staff are excellent. The home has improved so much in the last 6 months, needs seem to be met. The food has improved, things that I have brought to the management's attention all seem to have been addressed and improvements have been made. Maybe personal care could be improved to a higher level, but in general things are good. It is a very happy care home, I feel residents feel at home here.
Very pleasant staff who all tend to look after mum's needs, although I don’t think they are very demanding to be fair. The room is always clean and tidy when I have been there (normally twice a week). There seems to be plenty going on for the residents but hard to comment as mum doesn’t seem to take part in a lot of activities but she is always contented when I visit.
When Dad first arrived at Pine Lodge, he was very challenging with his behaviour and aggression, but the staff remained professional and caring. He has never been a social person, however it's lovely to see pictures of him interacting in activities with other residents. Dad is now settled due to the hard work, time, and effort put in from the team, which we are truly grateful for.
My mum has been in Pine Lodge for a few months now and ever since she got here she has never been happier. All the staff look after her really well and make sure all her needs are met. The activities are fantastic and my mum really enjoys being here. She has struggled to find comfort before now, but I am so pleased she has got a place at Pine Lodge, as I know she is in the best place she could be.
My mother was at Pine Lodge for almost 2 years. The staff took great care of my mum during her time there. She was always treated with dignity and respect and was so well cared for. Sadly she passed away this year, the staff not only took care of her, they took care of me too when I visited as I live overseas. Always willing to give me an update on the phone, I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful, warm and caring staff.
Mum had to go into care during the first lockdown. We chose Pine Lodge at random from online reviews. It turned out to be a great (and lucky) choice. Mum settled in straight away. The room was comfortable, and the care and staff were wonderful. Although Mum didn't join in very much, there were plenty of activities, and everyone seemed happy. The staff were very caring and seemed genuine to like Mum. She spent her last years in a caring environment. Thank you.
My father is very happy, and I cannot praise the care he is getting highly enough. He says he only has to ask for something to be done or got for him. My brother and I are so pleased to have been able to find somewhere where he is both settled and happy.
My mum is 93 and now unable to look after herself at home, we looked at care homes and Pune Lodge was friendly and local to us (5 minutes away). This was a hard decision for us but the staff made her very welcomed and she has settled well. We know she is sage and being looked after very well. Thanks to all at Pine Lodge.
