My mum has been a resident since Covid they took her in kindly and she has been there for over 5 years. She has vascular dementia the staff are amazing. Claire and her daughter organise wonderful events each week along with all the other staff. There is a dog that visits regularly and a group of children that the residents adore. I think the staff are amazing and do a wonderful job. If I've visited and seen a resident anxious or upset the staff will sit and hold their hand till they feel better. I would never move mum . I'm so grateful that I was recommended this home for mum

My mum has been a resident at the care home for a few years and continues to receive the highest level of care. All the staff are friendly and caring and she loves the food. Her favourite activity is when the pet therapy dogs come to visit. She also likes getting her hair and nails done on a Wednesday. I'm so grateful for the care she receives and can't thank them enough.

A friendly, quiet and even peaceful care home in beautiful surroundings. The staff are very caring. The home has gone out of it's way to resolve my mother's initial anxiety. Visitors are made to feel very welcome.

just want to say how truly grateful I am for the care and support my mum receives at Dale Lodge. It's a care home, but it feels so much more like a warm, welcoming community. I couldn't be happier with the care given by the staff - every single one of them goes above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable, happy, and well looked after. Knowing that she is in such safe and caring hands gives me real peace of mind. The staff are not only professional but also incredibly kind and compassionate. Thank you to everyone at Dale Lodge for the amazing work you do - it means the world to our family.

A lovely home for my mother to live in. Always something going on to keep my mother occupied. On the days I visit I have seen at first hand how the residents are included in a great variety of activities. The staff have always been very good to her. This is her third care home ,and certainly the very best.

Dale Lodge is a lovely, clean and friendly care home. Nan is always well fed (appraently the food is lovely) and entertained. The activities are frequent and lots of fun. Thank you for looking after her so well.

My mum is happy in this environment. All of the staff are friendly and she always looks clean and tidy. Mum loves the visits arranged when the children and animals come as therapy.

Mum has always been treated with great care and dignity. All the staff are friendly and do their best to answer any queries we have. Mum always says now nice the food is and never complains about being hungry. Cleanness of rooms and lounge area is great.

Mum has been a resident at Dale Lodge for over 6 years. It was one of the hardest decisions I have ever made but the care she has received over that time has been fantastic and has fully justified that decision. The staff and management work so hard to ensure the physical and emotional well being of each resident as well as supporting the families along the way.

I cannot recommend Dale Lodge highly enough. From the moment you step through the doors, you are met with warmth, professionalism, and an environment that truly feels like home. The staff go above and beyond, treating every resident with kindness, dignity, and respect, making each individual feel valued and cared for. The facilities are spotless, modern, and thoughtfully designed to cater to every need, from comfortable living spaces to engaging communal areas. The variety of activities and events available ensures that residents remain active, socially connected, and stimulated. It's clear that great care is taken to create a vibrant and supportive community. The quality of care is outstanding, with highly trained, compassionate staff who take the time to understand each resident's unique needs. Communication with families is excellent, providing peace of mind that loved ones are in safe hands.

Dale Lodge is a small care home with residents who have a wide range of needs which the staff cope with admirably. I have found the manager and staff extremely keen to ensure my mother's needs are met and are very quick to respond to any concern or request I have. They have tried their upmost to include my mother in activities but unfortunately dementia means she can get confused and usually prefers to be alone these days and so the staff work around this to keep her as settled as possible. The home is kept clean and I rarely detect unpleasant odours which are prevalent in other homes I have visited. If anything is noticed it is dealt with promptly. The food is very good and varied and they have tried themed options in the past to introduce new dishes. My mother is always dressed well and her clothes are well laundered and cared for. A great home with a fantastic team who really 'care' for the residents in every sense of the word.

Mum began her stay at Dale Lodge when her Dementia was so bad she could no longer stay at home. The team are fantastic and the transfer was simple. Dale Lodge is lovely and clean, and nicely laid out. The activities are really good, mum enjoyed the music and singing. The food is brilliant. The staff are friendly and caring. The home is small which means the staff know the clients really well. Nothing was too much trouble. Mum was always clean and nicely dressed. I would recommend Dale Lodge to anyone looking for a care home for a loved one.

When the time comes when your parent can no longer live independently, it is one of the hardest decisions to make to move them into the care of someone else. However Dale Lodge has fulfilled all expectations in keeping Mum safe, well cared for and respected. I have nothing but gratitude and thankfulness that Mum is being cared for by this wonderful team.

My mum has been at Dale Lodge for over three years. Her dementia has progressed significantly during this time, as have her care needs, but she has always received the same excellent standard of care during this time. It really is like a home from home and I never worry about my mum. The carers are all excellent. They truly care about the residents and go above and beyond to give them all the love, care and support they need every day. They have lots of activities and special events. This is a happy home. I would not hesitate to recommend Dale Lodge to anyone needing to place their loved one in a residential care home.

We were lucky at short notice to have a lovely room available. Mum has settled quickly and is enjoying the company. The staff are attentive and caring. What more could we ask at this difficult and emotional time?

Our mum only arrived two days ago after a week's stint in hospital. Despite our concerns about Mum going into a residential care home after years of independent living, she seems to have settled in very well. The staff at Dale Lodge have been professional, caring and very kind - showing Mum respect and giving her dignity. Thank you so much for looking after her, it is a huge relief for all our family to see Mum looking happy and relaxed.

A big thank you to the manager and team for doing an amazing job taking care of our mum's needs. It's lovely the way they all have great banter with Mum and seeing how caring everyone is means a lot. The kindness shown makes me feel very happy and I can see that our mum is happy too. When visiting at the home I feel I get to have quality time with Mum, having a cuppa and a chat together makes the visit so much more lovely. Thank you to everyone.

My step-father is well looked after and treated with respect at a high level of professionalism. The perfect place for everybody who needs care. The staff work so hard to keep the standard of care at 100% at all times.
