Mum has been at Orchardhead for just over a year and has thrived so much from the exceptional care & support they provide to her - and to us as a family.
Orchardhead has a lovely homely feeling, very clean, nice decor & furnishings. Mum has a lovely en-suite room. Beautiful, easily accessed
gardens too, lovely to spend time with mum there.
Communication is excellent as is the variety of daily activities which mum always enjoys joining in with.
Food is very good, Mum enjoys mealtimes & we can see from menus the variety of food they have.
All staff are warm & friendly. Mum really has benefited from their exceptional care, can't fault any of them, all do a brilliant job.
From day one, the process of moving mum in was smooth and straightforward- and supportive. Everyone continues to always make us feel so welcome when we visit.

My mother moved in on 7th November 2025 and has been well looked after. At 101 with poor sight and mobility, she is very contented in the home. She does not take part in any of the activities as it is not her scene. I am very happy that she is in good hands and that she is able to have a safe and
welcoming place to stay.

Really impressed with the whole of the staff how friendly everyone one is and how clean the home is i go every Sunday to visit and I must say the get a 150% for staff and clennise and to know that people do care for the residents and nothing is a bother

I can't recommend Orchardhead House in Rosyth highly enough. My father was a resident here, and the care he received was exceptional. The staff were incredibly attentive, always ensuring he was comfortable and well looked after. The care home itself was spotless-like a little hotel-and it was run
with such professionalism. The food was superb, and there was a great range of entertainment to keep all the residents engaged. On top of that, the management and staff were so approachable and respectful of our family's wishes. Orchardhead House really gave us peace of mind during a difficult time.

Mum has been a resident since Nov 25. The management were genuinely helpful, caring and transparent during the move from hospital care. Lots of helpful advice. The home is welcoming and absolutely spotless. Feels like a hotel. Staff are caring and engaging. Many been employed for several years. All
engage with family members and know them by name. Mum raves about the food. Excellent quality and cater to mums likes/dislikes well. Fish & Chips on a Friday being a favourite. Entertainment staff organise daily activities and organise visits from local entertainers or school children or other groups eg therapy pets. The ducks provided great interest for a couple of weeks, watching them hatch and grow. The care staff are on top of any medication and coordinate medical care needs efficiently. Communication is excellent with regular emails, and loads of pictures on the family social media group.
I really feel confident my mum is being cared for in the way she deserves.

My dear friend has now been in Orchardhead for two years and I can honestly state, without exception, that I know of not one issue of concern regarding the care, attention, due diligence and (dare I say) love that all the management and staff bestow on the residents and their visitors.
The
property and the gardens are very well maintained and are immaculately clean! The food is fresh and seasonal and well prepared and tailored for those who may have certain likes and/or dislikes. Daily checks on health, medical needs and well-being are made without fail and copious records taken too.
What appeals most to me as an onlooker? Well it has to be that Orchardhead is not just "a home" but HOME to its residents. They are part of the Orchardhead family and that provides what money cannot buy - PEACE OF MIND!

Orchardhead House has been a haven for my relative since he moved in a few years ago.
It's so comforting to know he is being looked after continuously, in a warm comfortable room overlooking the woods.
The staff are always checking on him and trying to engage him in activities, of which there are
many over the week (some activities more attractive to him than others, but that's personal choice).
We looked at several care homes and this was the most attractive. It's always clean, warm and well managed. The staff take on board suggestions and nothing seems too much bother.

My mother-in-law was fortunate enough to get a spot at Orchardhead House in December 2025. Her previous care home was closing and we were under the gun to find a new place that provides dementia care. Orchardhead has exceeded our expectation on every level and is providing incredible care. The
contrast between her last home and this one is night and day! It doesn't feel like an institution, but a real home, with lovely gardens and sitting rooms. She is so well cared for, her days are full of activities and games (which she loves), visits from singing groups, children, pets (and now baby ducklings in residence!) Something is always happening to keep life interesting and full. She looks so much better now, her clothes are better kept, she gets a professional hair wash every week. We live a world away from her, but feel like we are part of her life because the communication is stellar. Orchardhead has truly restored her dignity and for that we will be forever grateful.

Staff are very friendly and have been there for years so residents get continuity, mother in law keeps saying she is lucky to be there and is happy with staff, food is delicious and happy with staff and helpers, always something to do for the residents with a daily planner with a mixture of events
thrown in as well.
We are made to feel welcome when we visit and the home makes us feel at ease and glad she is being looked after in the home.

Well managed and friendly staff. Everything they said would do has been done promptly.
The admission process was well handled. They took a lot of pressure off the family by understanding the residents needs and family concerns.

My parents were recently admitted to Orchardhead House. They were fortunate to secure one of only two double rooms. The room had been completely refurbished and fitted out with nice furniture/lamps and bed linen prior to their arrival. The staff and management have been very welcoming, kind and
helpful to both my parents from the minute they arrived. Orchardhead House was beautifully decorated for Xmas and had a lovely family home feel about it. It is nicely carpeted, tastefully decorated, with nice furnishings and is clean. The staff have all been lovely, caring, patient and respectful with my elderly parents who both have dementia. A variety of interesting activities are put on for the residents every morning and afternoon, which the care staff happily participate in with the residents. Orchardhead House has lovely gardens too which I am sure will be enjoyed by the residents once the weather warms up. I am very happy that we managed to place my parents into care at Orchardhead House and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

The manager and the whole team at Orchard do an amazing job. The home is clean, beautifully decorated and feels homely rather than residential. The staff are excellent and caring.
Dad's treated with care and respect. There is a good selection of activities and nice to see residents in the
beautiful gardens when the weather is nice.
I would highly recommend and like to thank all the staff team.

Mum moved into Orchardhead last December, her health has improved so much in the last year, after the death of my dad 18 months ago. She joins in with all activities and really enjoys the entertainment.

My mum and dad became residents at Orchardhead House in January 2022. Unfortunately, my dad passed away in January 2024. Prior to his passing, he received so much additional care due to his suffering with Dementia. He absolutely loved Orchardhead House, the food, the activities and the care and
dignity the staff gave to him. My mum continues to stay at Orchardhead. She loves and participates in all the activities. Overall, having my mum stay here gives me peace of mind as I know she is well looked after by an excellent team of dedicated and attentive staff. The management keeps the resident's families informed of what is happening within the home with lots of photos and videos. They also give you updates regarding your family members' health and any other issues. I would recommend Orchardhead House to anyone looking for a care home for their loved ones.

My experience of Orchardhead House is excellent. My mother has been a resident for over two years now and has been extremely settled and content from the very beginning. The manager is very competent and always interested and informed of my mother's condition from day to day. The senior carers are
very helpful and knowledgeable at all times. The carers are absolutely brilliant, and nothing seems too much trouble for them. My mother is always well-presented and well-cared for.
The food is very good, and my mother often remarks on how she enjoys her meals.
The activities programme is imaginative and varied.

My 98-year-old mother has been a resident at Orchardhead for the last 17 months, and my family and I have been delighted with the care and empathy shown by all of the staff at the home. Despite her initial reservations about moving there from her previous assisted living accommodation, she settled
in straight away and immediately felt secure and happy with the continuous attention from the team, and the very full programme of events which ensures residents are kept active and engaged. Nothing appears to be too much trouble, and she directly benefits from the in-house hairdresser, along with visiting GP, optician and chiropody services. Although her short-term memory is getting worse, we have no fears about her future well-being at Orchardhead, and family members still take her out several times a week for outside visits or call to see her at the home where they are always made to feel welcome.

Our mum has only been a resident for two weeks so is still settling in and finding things a bit confusing and unsettling. This being the case the staff have been amazing and exceptionally attentive to her, reassuring her and encouraging her to get involved with other residents and the home
activities. Their care, kindness and support of our mum has also reassured and alleviated the stress for my brother and me. From the first day, the staff made us feel welcome and that we mattered.

This establishment is run so professionally by a very happy team which creates a lovely warm and friendly atmosphere confirming your loved one is being well cared for. The home always has plenty of wonderful staff to assist with any queries or admin matters. The residents are all immaculately
dressed and the whole building inside and out is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. You can sense the love and devotion given to all the residents making it feel like one big happy home.

The home staff have been very caring and understanding to both the needs of the residents and the family. The activities are varied and obviously enjoyed by the residents. I have recommended the home and will continue to do so.

Orchardhead House is always immaculate and the staff is excellent and caring. I feel my father could not be in a better place and it is a weight off my mind that I know should he need any assistance it is always going to be available.
