View Full Details of Kenilworth GrangeI am pleased with the way my mum-in-law is looked after. She is clean and tidy whenever I visit. Everyone is friendly. The food looks good and it is nice to have the selection of meals. She appears to be happy.
Good
Overall the care is very good. Meals are plentiful and varied. Activities are available for the able-bodied and help for those who aren't.
Staff and management are excellent. Sister-in-law loves it here. Everyone very welcoming.
Very happy with the staff and management. Would recommend. Thank you.
My father is difficult but the staff managed his peculiarities with care.
My mother has been a resident at Kenilworth Grange for about 10 years. The nursing care she has received has fully met her complex needs. Sadly, I cannot comment on the activities etc. offered by the home. Kenilworth Grange has a new manager, and the changes being made by her are having a positive impact.
As a family we have been very happy with the care and attention that my mum has received at Kenilworth Grange- we particularly like that my mum gets taken out into Kenilworth. Mum enjoys the regularity of the meals. As visitors we feel welcomed and comfortable when we visit mum.
I love Kenilworth Grange care home. ABSOLUTELY ALL staff who work with you are kind, considerate and very caring. I think the most important thing for me is the moment I enter through the front door I am always met with a smile and a 'hello'. Every single member of staff I pass looks up and acknowledges me. The care you provide for my mum is wonderful and I can't think of anything at all that is negative. It's ALL positive and I'm so pleased she is being cared for by the staff at Kenilworth Grange. Thank you so very much
My friend would like weekly shower and a nightdress put in at night to sleep in the clothes she has been in all day in bed please. Otherwise everything else is satisfactory. Thank you.
Food - Is it possible to have garden peas as an alternative to mushy peas. I'm sorry that the fees have had to go up but I do understand that the employers' insurance and minimum wage has gone up and care homes have been hit really badly. I have been very happy with my care overall and comfortable in my room since I arrived here last year.
My husband seems to be well cared for. I do think it would be beneficial to the residents to keep the same carers within reason, as they seem to change every few days. The residents would get to know the carers better. Staff on the whole, are very pleasant.
I find all the staff very friendly and helpful and there is always a good range of food and entertainment for residents and every special date in the year is highlighted, i.e. Mother's Day, Easter, Poppy Day, etc.
A lady on reception is always friendly & nice.
A particular staff member is always very pleasant when I come to Kenilworth Grange and always has a little chat.
The staff and management are always helpful and very caring. Mum seems quite settled. A bit confused. The cleaner always speaks and asks if Mum is okay. A staff member in the office is always helpful. A particular member of staff always asks if everything is okay. All the staff are very helpful.
Have just found out from my daughter when visiting her grandma she was being forced to move, in distress and absolutely no interaction from care staff. This place is a business and has nothing to do with any sign of quality care. No interaction was witnessed between care staff and residents. Poor, if no, handover from the home manager when Mum left. Soulless and ignore anything you read about 1-2-1, dementia care. From our experience, it was more of sit them down and keep them quiet.
The treatment our friend is having at Kenilworth Grange is very good. He is happy and contented. All the staff are lovely and friendly when we visit.
The staff are professional, kind and caring. They are attentive to my needs. When I arrived it was difficult being in a strange place. The staff helped me and reassured me. They listen to me and respond appropriately. I felt scared at the beginning but now I feel secure. I do feel loved. The nurses are outstanding and have been there for me throughout my ten months of being here. I would recommend people to being here at the home because of the care.
Kenilworth Grange have treated my father with dignity and respect. I have always found him beautifully clean and dressed well, laundry always washed and laundered well, Dad is always well shaved, personal care brilliant. The staff are amazing on Willow Floor, always kind to me as well as Dad. The activity staff I find lovely and they really are and the cleaners are five star.
